Humid Time in Maine

I know with summer comes humidity.

But holy cow! I have walked around feeling

sticky for two days now. Yuck! It’s only May

4th. What is this summer going to be like?

I HAVE to get an air conditioner this year,

there is no way around it. The portable kind

are just too expensive! (My windows roll out

so its hard to put a regular kind in!)

One of the guys off my ship lived in Topsham – we used to go over to “burn a bird” – bbq chicken at his house. My wife and I lived in Wiscasett, on US 1 by the river. I hear the old ships are gone there – the “Luther Little” is no more. I’ve seen you on sitemmeter and wondered who it was. We had some friends up there, and I was wondering if you were thme.

Thanks for my note! I don’t think I could handle living somewhere without AC. It’s already getting up to 95 degrees here. My car didn’t have AC for about 3 years, talk about miserable!
