Anyone near Augerties, NY want to help a dog?

I know this is a long shot, but a local hero (in my mind, she spends her life helping
random dogs from anywhere!) is asking if anyone north of Augerties is heading
even slightly close to Maine this week.
 
There is a dog named Gizmo who is no longer wanted, his owner passed away and
the family can’t/won’t take him.
 
These guys are willing to pay for gas to anyone who can get him as close to Maine
as possible. He is only ten pounds and won’t take up much room.
 
There is a trucker who may be able to get him this weekend, but they are not sure the
shelter will keep him alive that long.
 

 
Any other hero’s want to help?
