Danger Zone

According to a due date calendar, if a massive failure of birth control occurred soon I’d be due on May 24, 2012.

That’s nine days before the wedding. NINE DAYS.

We’re officially in the danger zone.

As far as planning goes we’ve gotten a lot of stuff done. I have 11 days of freedom left until grad school monopolizes my life for the next two years, so my hope was to get as much done before then as possible.

Ceremony location: Contract signed, deposit made.

Reception location: Contract signed, deposit made.

DJ: Booked (friend of the groom).

Photographer: Contract signed, no deposit required (former teacher of the bride).

Cake: Contract signed, design submitted, deposit made.

Dress, veil, undergarments, shoes: Bought, adored.

Tuxedos: Discount secured, appointment to be set soon.

Save the Dates: Designed, still need to be printed and mailed.

Registry: Started at BB&B.

So that leaves flowers, catering (included with reception hall), invitations, and other odds & ends. I feel like we’ve gotten enough done that I won’t be in a panic after fall quarter.

Hopefully you won’t be pregnant by the time you get married. Otherwise you may need a new dress! RYN: Actually, I never think of it. I really can’t see any of my friends that I grew up with feeling that way. I’m probably the only one who cares to bring up religion with them. Unless you mean people in general, then well, I don’t know many of those. lol. When I made the statementabout my friend, I was thinking about how detailed the Muslim religion is. I feel like they do a lot more than I do.
