News – Ahmadinejad Goes to Iraq
Middle East
Iranian prez Mahmoud Ahmadinejad visits Iraq and accuses the US of bringing terrorism to the region. Which isn’t entirely wrong, as the intervention of the US gave terrorists an in to Iraq by taking down Saddam’s regime without quickly securing and locking down the country quickly afterward.

After days of fighting in Gaza, Israeli troops pull out again. Many dead left in their wake, likely no small amount of property damage and the like. Will it have a positive effect? I doubt it, considering it has prompted Fatah to cut off diplomatic contact with Israel.
Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Haim Ramon said on military radio, “There were dozens of deaths among the Hamas terrorists – this is certainly deterrence.” Which is bullshit because soon enough the rockets will be flying again. And Israel will raid. And rockets will fly.. and the cycle continues. Which Is sad as the majority of Israelis favor some form of negotiation.
