A news study shows that smoking cannabis regularly can cause damage to the lungs. Strange how the ball on this issue keeps bouncing in every direction. So is it bad for you or not? Personally, I err on the side of caution and don’t mess with the stuff.

Also, while moderate drinking may be good for the heart, a study of 50-60 year olds has suggested a link between low-moderate drinking and brain shrinkage. Chronic drinking is known to do this, though before there hadn’t been any studies on the effects of low-moderate drinking. The reduction is small in this case and researchers don’t know if it has any net effect on the individual.

Reviews for Bad Santa and The Last Samurai. I saw Bad Santa last weekend. An amusing, grotesque movie that I would recommend to those who dislike and like the season alike. It ends on something of a positive note, though the term happy ending seems out of place and it is mot certainly a movie you don’t want to bring a child to.
