Muse – Random Things

I’ve seen many previews for the re-release of Alien and I must admit, I’m primed to see it. It’s been so long, I hardly remember a thing from the movie. It’s been far too long. Anyone else thinking of shelling out cash to see it on the big screen again?

Just got the strategy guide for the upcoming game Gladius. Looking very nice. I do think I’ll get it ASAP once it’s released. 😉

Looking for something new after your Bush action figure? How about another of America’s Action Heroes: Ann Coulter. She even talks!

This world is crumbling down around my ears as we speak. Or type as it were.

Political correctness seeps into the danger zone again.

I rarely say this, but if we let some people run the world, we’ll loose our innate edge for survival simply because of this extreme coddling. I’m as pro on PC as the next, but within reason people. Within reason.

I’ve decided I have no respect for ‘craven’ decision makers. This is where someone justifies their decision by pointing out that they’re safer having taking the option they do. A sterling example is this which I’ve recently seen quoted on the abortion debate.

The cruxt of the argument is when human life begins.

Let’s say that the pro lifer’s are wrong. We inconvienance a woman for nine months, who can then legally give the child to a couple who really wants it.

Let’s say the pro choicers are wrong. A human being is killed.

Which is worse?

That’s why I’m pro life. It has nothing to do with forcing my religion on anyone.

If you choose a side because the consequences for being wrong are lighter, then you’re a coward. Plain and simple. Note, I don’t consider all anti-abortionists cowards. Most pick because of their personal moral outlook, which I can respect. But I don’t respect someone looking for the side with the least potential fallout.

That’s all for today.

I think the children of America need to be exposed to copious amounts of violence so they know it exists. And understand it. This censorship shit simply doesn’t work.

The cowards on the other side of the “when life starts” are just the same. They will never tell you when life does start, just that they won’t let you say it starts at conception. But, we can never be 100% certain of any moral stand. I am a former pacifist and formerly pro-choice. I could be wrong now in being pro-life. These are the real toughies. The ones with all bad outcomes.
