Me – The Vacation’s End

Once again I am landed.

The trip home was pretty relaxed. No serious delays or late times. No missed connection. no missed baggage. A pleasure.

I find my subterranean base of operation to be well in order.. or as much order as I left it in anyway. 😉

The only issue with the flights was the baby cry on the last one in to Dulles. As much as I can empathize with how infants would feel on the strangeness of a flight, the rapid fire, gurgling rasp of this one’s displeasure was wearing on me. But I kept my outbursts to a few light, vague sighs of exasperation, extended to the wait for people toward the front of the plane to get themselves in gear so I could get on my way home.

Which is where I am now, happily.

And now I have a few things to decide. Shall I hit the movies tomorrow? If I do, will I see the new rendition of Peter Pan or Paycheck? Both are around 11:30 AM for first showing, so time isn’t a factor. Perhaps I should make a news entry later tomorrow.. if I don’t, I might get a start on one for Monday at the very least.

We’ll see. For now we’ll say I’m going to finish my dinner and soon enough be crashed out. Night all.

ADD: And yes, I think LotR is better than the Evil Dead triolgy. 😉 But I’m more attuned to fantasy stories than horror. But Evil Dead is a close runner behind it. I’m hoping ole Pete Jackson gets his fingers into another something big soon.
