Me – iPod Bliss

I have the iPod. I plugged in that puppy, updating it and packed 7.21 gigs of music on the thing, leaving a little over 6 more free for even more music. I used it lat night and played with the interface. Very intuitive and quick to learn. A one hand usage indeed.

I’m well pleased and soon, thanks to iTunes, I’ll have a nice, fat music list to post. I’m taking a plain text copy and an XML copy to work to play with. See which will give me the best results for showing off the eccentric range of my musical interest. From classical to movie soundtracks, from play soundtracks to rock. From metal to devil music, to a scattering of contemporary Christian, there’s little I’m missing.

I think all of my tastes are eccentric, really.

Yes, but do you have BT, Bjork, the Flaming Lips, REM, Air, and the recent work of Yes?

You should buy some REM. “Out of Time” and “Automatic for the People” are two of the best albums EVER. You’ve never heard Bjork? Are you serious? Download “Pagan Poetry” or “Aurora” or “Undo” or “Hyperballad” if you have the time. ^___^

i loved (past tense) my ipod, (which i have on right now) until i found out when the battery dies, that is it. so when it goes i’m thinking a creative labs player, which is better. are all your tastes eccentric, or just your musical ones. so you have venom AND stryper, but do you have any bagpipe music? may i recommend… “forest for the trees”?

oh, and Sisters of Mercy are pretty kick ass, i think. also…Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (i’m not lying). i liked him before he made it into the “natural born killers” soundtrack.
