DT – The Peek In
Hello, my fine friends and former readers.
As you can see, I quite suddenly stopped the news posts. I really can’t say just what led me to this, but ultimately I just came to a decision and ceased. And never picked it back up. Though I would like to thank you all for your interest in my writings, rantings and personal opinions/issues.
I did read all of your notes, even if response was rare to non-existent. I read the thoughts offered and considered them all. I’m not one to mind correction and I did note and consider all of those that were given.
What have I been doing? Well, for a few months I was raiding in WoW. I’ve come to enjoy the game a great deal and have been playing it since Dec 2006, though the raiding was only recent. Since then, I’ve dropped the raid game for something new. A text game called Chronicles of Kingsdale. An RP focused game on the MUX server which is run in the Rifts game world.
I’ve not stopped playing WoW, but my activity there is lesser in the now, more casual. And I’ve focused on a new server, where some of the people from the text game play as well. As it stands, I’d put a little plug up here for the game, so here goes:
Chronicles of Kingsdale is an RP focused game, with a relatively low power level when it comes to most Rifts settings. There is no automation, no stress on leveling and we welcome those who have and have not played Rifts or on MU*s in general. Even if you don’t have any books, we can work with you to get you into the game. Wanna see what we’ve been doing? We have a logs page.
If you do pop by, I play Desmond and Kid, so feel free to give a nudge.

George Carlin
Dead at 71. I never had much interest in him early on. But as of late I’ve come to appreciate his comedy style and it is a sad thing. His style was something I could get on board with easily and agree with more often than one might think, though as ever there are things he’d say that I don’t necessarily agree with. So goes another legend, even if he was as infamous as famous.

Have a good one, folks. Until I am next driven to post. 😉
I hope you post again soon. You always found good stories.

Yep, I’ve only been lurking on your diary; you found MANY interesting articles. Though I miss being able to click on the news of the day, it sounds like you have some fun to pursue. George Carlin was absolutely hilarious to me; the weirdest thing he ever did, though, was play the conductor on the children’s show Shining Time Station (as did Ringo Starr!). To think that the seven forbidden words might end up being blurted out in such a setting was such a kick!
