Fish, friends, and homework
Had to take Kai, my male crown betta and Geroge, my Cory catfish, into Preuss’ today to see the vet. Apprently the minor bacterial infection I’ve been trying to treat for the last 6 weeks is NASTY and that’s why George is STILL sick and Kai (who is usally a pretty jewel blue) is turning white. 🙁 So the vet’s keeping them to see what he can do for them for a couple of days and I have to keep treating the rest of my 10 gal tank. Le sigh.
Thank goodness Ms. Ashley Hanna was there to help cheer me up! She was just what i needed. We talked about frienships and past relationships, old and new. Sometimes it’s better to let go of people. You might not want to, but you might need too – and it’s better for you. I wish I could do that with the majority of my family.
School’s going pretty swimmingly. I have some awesome people in my class that I know from previous classes. The homework isn’t too strenuous. This pneumonia, on the other hand, makes the afternoons difficult sometimes. Like i’m really tired and dizzy and I want to get a jump on some reading, but i can’t focus. So it’s nap time and maybe i might revisit it..Or I just might take drugs to help me breath and finish James’ stocking. I might even get to start mine this weekend! *cross fingers*
