Can I vent for a minute?

My roommate is getting on my nerves. I know this would happen with any roommate, which is why I’m not kicking her out or anything. I’m not even going to go into the fact that I’m the only one who ever does any cleaning or dishes or anything like that. I’m just going to talk about the milk. We generally buy our own groceries, and it’s kind of unspoken that we share things like milk (and sometimes eggs and sliced cheese). Well I’ve bought milk the past two times. I didn’t say anything about it. But this last time, she was drinking it by the glass and it ran out quickly. And she finished it off. So I left a note on the fridge: “S2- Can you buy milk this time? Thx, S1” She didn’t say anything for about a week. So I asked her about it. She apparently didn’t see the note. Several days have passed since I brought it up and she still hasn’t bought milk. So tonight I had to go to the grocery store and asked her to come with me. She said “Yeah, I need to get milk anyway.” Sweet. So we go in and she, on impulse, bought a $9 stocking cap. She also bought $30 worth of groceries and shampoo. As we were checking out, she said she forgot the milk, but she’d get it tomorrow. We got into the car and I realized I couldn’t make what I wanted for dinner without milk. She said “Well I don’t have enough on me for MILK!” Uhhhh…. isn’t that why you came along? Bitch just didn’t want to go back out in the cold. And I know for a fact she carries all her cash with her. Uggghhh so annoyed!

LMAO reminds me of when I first moved out with a roommate. Used to fight over silly ****, and even though everyone thought I was kinda crazy about it, to me it was ****ing serious! Just tell her flat out either buy more milk or she can’t have any of your stash.

i’d rather live alone than with a roommate any day. I would have a hard time with that because I am super organized and NOT a procrastinator. I would be a total bitch about that ****. :hugs:
