A lot of people (especially Americans) are such big babies these days where handling criticism, even of the constructive type, is concerned. No wonder the country has gone to pot.

I was once given constructive criticism by the father of a well known Australian band, after sharing some of my music with him.

What did I end up doing? Practicing, honing up my voice, getting vocal coaching, and basically developing a thick skin.

If you want to be an entertainer you’ve got to be proactive and you have to work at your craft like every other person does.
