Weekend fun
Dear Diary,
I had an interesting weekend. It all started Friday morning. I stayed up too late the night before, so I was really tired. I went to work, and hung up my new foil art picture of my Ice Dragon.

The day dragged on and finally it ended. I left work around 5, but the stupid bus missed seeing me so I had to wait 15 more minutes for the 5:25 bus. Then traffic was horrific and I was so drowsy it took an hour to get home. I thought for sure I’d go to sleep with no problems when I got home, but nope, I just lie in bed. I got up in time to take a shower and look pretty for the clubbers. Bob called when I was lying down and said he would be late, so around 8pm Heather shows up and Bob about 20 minutes later. We went to Applebee’s, hoping for the 1/2 price appetisers at 9pm. Little did I know that the guy who told me they started at 9 was mistaken and they were actually at 10. We ordered a regular appetiser for ourselves and a drink and Heather was nice enough to pay for me for my birthday. It was nice catching up with the two of them, and really nice of Bob to let me drive his new car. Bob gave me the great idea of buying earplugs. (Stupid club music is blasted so loud) I’m glad he did.
We drove downtown and found parking, which took a while, and $5. Then we went to a club called Traffic. It was okay. I’d like to try a new club next time we go in a few weeks. They had some traffic signs for decoration and the bar was in the middle with the dance floor to the side. Heather and Bob first got drinks and we sat down at a table. We had a shouted conversation, and then hit the dance floor. We were there for a while, and I even danced for a while. The fog got to Heather and her contacts and she had to leave the floor for a sec. I kept dancing with Bob still there and some guys gave me a strange look.
Around 12:45am I was ready to go and said I could hit Bounce. Suprisingly, they were also willing and I drove there. It was great! There were a lot more people on the dance floor and it was $5 cover. There was one guy who had his shirt tightly held in his hands and was pulling it back and forth between his legs as he danced. It was funny, and strange. I didn’t see anyone I knew. I was hoping to see Brad, but didn’t. Long story short, I danced, we left around 2am, and I went to bed around 2:45am.
Saturday was fun. The weather was nice and I got to go outside. I cleaned my room a lot as well. Sunday was kinda’ sad. My friend Jamie is leaving for California on Friday afternoon with her roommate, and they had a farewell party around 4pm at Red Robin. It was fun, even though I didn’t get to sit near Jamie.
