Date? …maybe

Dear Diary,

Lots to think about lately.  For starters Ryan has told me how much he likes me and wants to date me.  If only he had some way of supporting himself.  Also if his house wasn’t such a mess, he’d be in a better position.  I spent last Friday night at his house again, but this time we didn’t fool around, which I didn’t mind.  It was nice just eating and talking with him.  We ordered Pizza Hut and he showed me the original "Hairspray" movie, along with the soundtrack.  Oh wait, that was the previous weekend.  Last weekend I took my PS2 with me and we watched a bit of Silent Hill, then went downstairs and played The Simpsons video game.  His dad came home then, so we went back upstairs to his room and watched "Home Movies", the show from Adult Swim on Cartoon Network.  Then we went to sleep I think.  It’s so nice holding a nude man next to you at the end of the day, or having his arm around you.  It’s been something I’ve always dreamed about, but now it’s a reality I don’t want to wake up from.

In the morning/early afternoon, he made me breakfast.  He made scrambled eggs and warmed up some cinnamon rolls.  Then I left to go back home.  When I got home I went online for a while, then my mother said her friend had invited her to go down to Mountaineer Casino in West Virginia.  I told her she should go, for I saw this as a great opportunity to invite Ryan to see my place for once.  So she left, and I called Ryan.  I went to his house and we drove to a bar his friend worked at.  So we’re sitting there at the straight bar and he’s drinking beers, had a few shots, and I’m just watching Cleveland Soccer on the TV across from me.  It was pretty dull for me.  After about 2 hours I said I was ready to go and so I drove him back to my house.  I gave him a quick tour, and then he spotted my ABBA VHS music video tapes and wanted to watch it.  I asked him if he’d seen the Mamma Mia movie yet.  He hadn’t so I asked him if he would like to go tonight.  He said yes, so I called up Donatos Pizza really quickly because the movie began at 10:05 and it was about 9:30 now.  We got 2 of their subs, $10, and I paid, even had a coupon.  Then I paid $17 for the movie tickets and then $2 for updrading an AMC free small popcorn coupon.  So almost $30.  Ryan says his mother gets paid soon, which I can’t wait for.  He really wants to treat me as well, and who am I to say no.  He loved the movie, and I did too as it was my second time seeing it, and watching his reactions for he knew nothing of the story, just some of the songs.  On the ride home he asked me if that was considered a date, and I said sure.

I still need to figure out if we’re boyfriends or just "dating".  Is that the same thing?  Or maybe it depends on the couple.  Anyway, I’m going to have to figure out what we can and can’t do.  LIke see other people.  He’s a nice guy, but I get tired of him saying he’s hung over or doesn’t remember the night before.  Grrrr, I’m not sure people can totally change people, but we’ll see what happens.
