Just a New England fan having sportsgasms

I had a sportsgasms last Sunday evening what must have been one of the greatest days in New England sports history, short only by a championship.  That’s cumming.

I think he is talking to the Yankees.

When I was watching the Pats game Sunday evening, I was on the edge of the seat most of the time.  The rest of the time I was either holding on to the edge of my seat, downing a beer, taking a wiz, or I was jumping up and down in a moment of jubilation.  The last play of the game I jumped the highest.  That last play with 5 seconds left.  I was tightly hanging on to to the edge of my seat til the ball was snapped, The ball was snapped.   Brady with the grace of a talented dancer, pranced in the pocket to only unload to rookie Patriots rookie wide receiver,  Kenbrell Thompkins.  Brady’s pass propels like a miniature, smart missile and gracefully landed on its target in smart accuracy, into the hands of Thompkins. The completion  had the Pat’s scoring the winning touchdown, 30-27 with zero seconds left and game over.  That play had me uncontrollably jumping up and down and having sportsgasms.  I didn’t quit until I got to the kitchen.  That was the first miracle of the night for New England/Boston sports.

Patriot’s Thompkins winning TD, 30-27, against New Orleans Saints with no time left on the clock.

That same evening and following the Pats miracle, came the Red Sox miracle.  It was game 3 in a series tied at one a piece.  It’s the seventh inning and both teams are scoreless.  1st basemen Mike Napoli at bat and he wallops it out of the park.  It was sportsgasmic and I did a little dance in a celebration around the room.  Red Sox drew first blood now can it hold?  It may be a little late coming and a little slim, but the Sox dug in deep and stopped the Tigers over the remaining 3 innings to win a squeaker, 1-0 Red Sox.  Another sportsgasm.

Game 3 ALCS 2013: 1st basemen Mike Napoli squares to hit a solo home run in the 7th making it 1-0. That sole run held for the next 3 innings for the Sox to beat the Detriot Tigers 1-0. Sox lead the series 2-1.

My last sportsgasm came (get it) on Sunday night in Game 2 of the ALDCS.  It was the bottom of the eighth inning.  There was 2 out and bases loaded, Papi was up  The Sox unfortunately were behind 5-1.  Papi wallops a pitch to right field, having the fielder chase it all the way, until the fielder and the Papi’s ball both landed in the Red Sox bull pen.  GRAND SLAM!!!!  Another sportsgasmic moment. The score is a miraculously tie now, 5-5.  Yes I was jumping up and down.  The inning ends the next play.  In the ninth the Tigers fail to score and then the Red Sox are up.  Still tied, 5-5  in the bottom of 9th.  Outfielder Jonny Gomes leads off with a single to only reach 2nd on a throwing error.  Catcher J Saltalamacchia is up.  Now a wild pitch is thrown moving Gomes to 3rd with no outs.  Saltalamacchia is still up and cracks a hit that drives Gomes to score and the Cardiac Kids, win 6-5.  More sportsgasms.  This was a miraculous win.  The Sox were behind 5-1, for 8 2/3rd

Papi’s 2 out, 8th inning, tying grand slam against the Detroit Tigers game 2, ALCS.
