V. Quick

This will be a very quick entry because I don’t think I have too much to say…  Also, anything I do have to say is about work and I don’t really want to write about it because it’s really boring so I’ll only write a little…

My week was pretty frustrating.  I spent all week working frustratingly long hours.  I was staying at work until about 9-10 at night each night.  I had meetings, and my boss was out all week from being sick.  My co-worker that was just on vacation for the past 2 weeks also got sick and was in the hospital for the whole week.  I think they might both be back tomorrow, but we’ll see. 

Surprisingly, I was not in as bad of a mood at work.  I think because my supervisor was not there; I could concentrate on things and make some dents in projects that I was working on.  If felt productive.

Because of the craziness of the past couple weeks I spent all of Saturday lounging around and sleeping—Again!  This is the 2nd week that I’ve done that.  Saturday night I went to a birthday party which was fun.

Today was church, lunch, work, cleaning…now sleepy tea time and some unwinding.  While cleaning I was listening to the Pump Up The Volume soundtrack.  It made me all nostalgic on that point in time in my life. 

This week, work seems like it may be okay.  I have one person traveling to Dallas for the week.  I’ll be in Springfield on Wednesday for a conference.  I’m not sure if my boss will be in or not.  While I was turning on my work laptop to do some work today I was dreading reading my email.  I figured my boss would have sent me so much email…I had none!  I hope she’s doing okay.  I hope this week is productive.
