The Plan**Edit

I had a nice end to my work week yesterday.  I stayed at work until about 6pm and on my way home I called my mom and told her I was coming over.  She told me that her best friend was over.  She’s been friends with her since I can remember.  Her two kids and I hung out all the time when we were little.  Her friend just came back from Greece and brought me a little gift.  It’s a necklace and I’ll take a picture of it.  We hung out at my mom’s for a bit and I suggested that we all go out for dinner, my treat.  It was a very nice evening with laughs and it’s just what I needed!

My plan for today is to finish up some tidying around here.  There isn’t too much to do, but I want to finish vacuuming and dusting.  Then I’m going to head to my mom’s house and her and I will be going to Wegmann’s to shop.  I stopped in late on Monday night and it was a very big store that I thought it would be better to go sometime during the weekend where I could take my time.  This is the first Wegmann’s that’s opened up around here.  It is in a neighboring town in a new shopping area.  While there we may stop at a few other stores along the way.

Tomorrow I will go to church and then to a friend’s Photography Studio for an open house.  The open house is from 3-6, so if I want to get any work done it will have to be today.  That’s all I really have for now.  Happy Saturday!

It’s almost 7 and I am finally home.  I ended up doing a little more cleaning than I had planned, but that’s what usually happens.  My mom and I spent just about 3 hours at Wegmann’s…it was insane.  We did a thorough walk through and bought several things.  I wouldn’t spend nearly as much time in the future…it just had to be done for this first time.  We also went to Babies R Us to pick up some things for my niece and for my friend that just had a baby.

Now, I’m going to relax for a bit and have some dinner.  Soon after that I’ll make a cup of coffee and start doing some work…that’s right I said it–I’m spending my Saturday night doing work…yuck…

****Edit number 2–Sunday Morning

I did end up doing work until about 10pm.  I didn’t start working on my presentation last night, so I think I’ll start working on that now.  Really, I will just organize myself and put myself in a good position to really get into the presentation after church.  I’ll have a couple hours between church and the photography studio open house to really put some effort in.  Wish me luck…if I don’t get a big chunk done I’ll for sure have sleep anxiety tonight.  Two people in our group are heading to Carbondale, PA where our sister plant is.  I was originally supposed to go but after we laid off someone in our group, I need to make sure payroll runs smoothly so I’m staying back.  Happy Sunday.  I hope it doesn’t fly by.  If I’m done early this afternoon I’ll post some more pictures of Cali.
