Thanksgiving Weekend Pictures
I have some pictures to share…mostly of my little niece because she is just such a cuteness. Here we are on Thanksgiving Day. She is wearing a 1st Thanksgiving dress that I bought her. I layed her down on this little couch that we got just for her. Sorry for the quality of the pictures. I don’t really edit/crop them until later usually.
She always loves to lift her arms while she’s sleeping…
I don’t really have too many pictures about my family during dinner. I took a lot of pictures, but I was in charge of taking pictures with my mom and aunt’s camera. So, I decided I would pass on meal pictures.
Later that night I went to my friend Vicky’s house for a little party. Here we are…many of these are blurry. I think I could feel my spirits!! Since I went out on Wednesday night and stayed up until 4am, I was truly exhausted and decided that I would take it easy for the next couple days. Thursday was fun during the day because I played with the baby and hung out with family all day. I went home and had a good night’s rest that night.
Friday morning I woke up early, got ready and headed over to my mom’s again. The kids (by kids I mean the younger adults…that’s me and my cousins) left pretty early and went out to get a tree. It didn’t take too long which was good because we needed to get back and help my mom get ready for our Sip and See. We had about 40 close friends and family come over to see the baby. It was good to hang out with people I don’t get to see often. As I decided it was time to go home my friend Vicky called me and told me to come over. It didn’t take much to twist my arm, but I thought I would be home and in bed by 10-11pm. It was way past midnight by the time I left.
Saturday morning all the "kids" put up and decorated our Christmas tree. We had a fun time playing with Amalia and trying to pose her with her stocking. After a yummy lunch we all relaxed and then headed out to the Boylston Botanical Gardens. On the way home we stopped to look at a couple venues for a family party coming up next summer. Excuse the way I look!!!
Here she is with my mum.
My cousin Marina with Amalia…
Here is the new family. That’s Emilio, my cousin Eleni and little Amalia. The cousin above lives in San Fran and the cousin below lives in Miami.
Here’s the little one when we were playing with her.
How cute is this next picture!!!!
That afternoon we took some of the leftover turkey and made turkey pot pie, which was delicious!! As a greek tradition, every year we make a pie and put the new year on it. Usually we have this meal on new year’s day, but no one will be home at that time so we had to celebrate early.
The botanical garden!! It was half inside and outside, but we were mostly outside.
On the way to one of the rooms, you pass through a long hallway that displays different handmade clothing, pocketbooks and shoes. All garden inspired and many were made with actual flowers, leaves, even wood. VERY COOL!! Here is some jewelry.
Here’s some pocketbooks that were super cute!
I absolutely love these next two.
Hat Tree!!
Just a couple pictures of the Orangerie Room.

Outside court and our little nature walk.
It didn’t look great because it’s winter and everything was pretty much dead, but it was still pretty.
I ended up going out again on Saturday night with a whole bunch of friends. I really didn’t take pictures at the bar, but it was very fun laughing and dancing with my friends. I wish I could do it more often. Sunday was pretty relaxed. I hung out until all my cousins left. I went out for another nature walk with my friend and then headed home to clean and do work. I was in bed early to start the week on a good note. I’ll leave you with a couple more pictures of Amalia in her little Christmas suit!!
Here’s my aunt and uncle and Emilio and Eleni.
I’m excited that I don’t have to work early tomorrow. I won’t get to leave at 1, but I never get to leave at that time anyway. My mum’s birthday is on Saturday and I ordered a nice arrangement for her to be delivered. I think I’ll take her out for a mom/daughter day. Maybe we’ll go shopping and then maybe go out to dinner. We’ll see…
Happy Thursday. One more day until the weekend!!!
What a lovely holiday!
