So my very relaxing day didn’t turn out how I’d hoped…

I woke up and watched a couple episodes of the Golden Girls.–this was very relaxing!  After showering and getting ready I went to run a couple of errands and coming home just in time for my friend to call me and tell me she was on her way.  She got here half hour later and we ventured out to the neighboring town where stein mart is.  We shopped for a while and I got one dress, two pairs of pants and four shirts.  Overall it was a good trip!  After that we went to West House for some salad, pizza and glass of wine.  We were there talking for about 2 hours and my cousin came and sat with us for a while as well.  I came home and took a short nap, woke up and started on some office work.  I didn’t finish my performance review revamp but at least I made a dent.  I hope to finish on Wednesday afternoon.  Now I’m here…having a bit of the Sunday Monday night blues…  I made my sleepy time tea and will watch a couple more episodes of the Golden Girls to get me to go to sleep.  I miss my mom, I talked to her a couple times today.  Spending time with her would help ease my work anxiety.

Overall it was a nice day.  I had hoped to have gone shopping and dinner last night instead of today.  I wanted to make some cards or scrap but that didn’t end up happening.  I guess that’s okay though, there’s always next weekend.  I hope everyone had a nice weekend…counting down the days to next weekend!
