This, That, and the other thing

Good day to all.  I don’t have much to report lately, nothing too fun and exciting.

I have a concert tomorrow for Chorus.  I have to remember to Dryell my tux so I’ll be all spiffy tomorrow.  Most of the songs we’ll be singing are alright.  They’re not the greatest, but they’re okay.  Then we’re supposed to perform a pre selected song in voice lessons on Wed.  I don’t think I’ll be ready.  I have all the notes, pitches, and rythms down.  It’s just singing and memorizing the words that’s a bitch.  The song is in Italian, which makes it a whole lot harder to remember.  I know I’ll be able to sing it by Wed, I just don’t know if I’ll have it memorized by then.

I saw Constantine the other day.  I enjoyed it, the storyline could have been developed a bit more, but it was a good movie.  It’s based on a comic book, so it’s not like I was looking for some award winning performances or storylines.  So, I wasn’t disappointed.  I was disappointed with the game though.  I rented the game a week ago and I completed it yesterday…or was it the day before? oh, well, I completed it at any rate.  I was disappointed with the storyline that the game went with. Speaking of such, Marie came over yesterday and we were playing Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup.  I was just noticing several discrepencies between the game and the book series, or even the movies.  I wish that I had been able to work for J.K. Rowling, to be able to sync the book, movies, games, and merchandise together.  I guess it’s because I’ve always been one for detail, so I notice all the things that people, especially fans, pick up on when they see something of a particular genre.  If I had worked for Rowling, they never would have made the mess out of the Prisoner of Azkaban movie that they did.  I just hope that the Goblet of Fire is a whole lot better.

Let’s see…what else?  There’s stuff that I’ve been wanting to buy lately but I don’t have the money, or rather the money is being spent on things I need instead.  Blah.  I’m still debating on buying a new computer.  I know I can’t afford one in full, but I’m trying to see if my budget would allow me to be able to make payments.  There seems to be some good prices on Dell computers right now, but maybe if I wait there will be better prices.
