Something or Other

Note: I tried posting this entry yesterday but for some reason the little buttons that say "Save" "Cancel" and "Check Spelling" had disappeared. Instead was this html code that said there was an unspecificed error or something.  Just for those three boxes.  Everything else worked.  So I tried just using "Enter" to submit the entry.  It didn’t work, without the html accepting the button code I couldn’t submit.  Did anyone else have this problem?  Anyway, since you all had to wait a day for this entry I’m going to include two funny pics at the end.  Enjoy!

There wasn’t much to the weekend, at least in the fun and excitement sense.  I got some homework done, in french, astronomy, and poli sci.  I even got to practice some Tai Chi.  I still haven’t gotten into the major revisions of my screenplay treatment.  I really know that I should, I just haven’t gotten around to it.  I did take care of something related to screenwriting though, well sort of.

  I emailed my uncle this weekend.  It was his birthday, so I wished him a happy birthday and the like.  The thing is, I don’t even remember what this uncle looks like, that’s how long its been since I’ve seen him.  But his wife, my aunt and the kids came down this past summer.  I found out that my uncle is one of the big wigs for a movie production company.  It sounds almost surreal when you’re hoping to make it into the motion picture business and then find out that your uncle is involved in the motion picture business.  Hehe.  So, we’ll see if he emails me back.

  I’m currently awaiting the release of Kingdom Hearts 2, which comes out on the 29th I think (thanks Manda! =)  Currently I’ve started playing a new type of game, something that, until now, I’ve been unfamiliar with.  Its an MMORPG, which I think stands for something like Massively Multi-Player Online Role Playing Game.  Its like the technological next step to Dungeons & Dragons role playing games.  Those new online only Final Fantasy games are similar (I’m not sure by how much as I’m unfamiliar with the specifics).  Anyway, this one is Star Wars Galaxies.  If anyone else is playing that let me know and maybe we’ll see each other.  It is strange playing a new game like this though.  In a way, its like screenwriting.  Its something that I’m familiar with, but its format is different, you have to learn new things that weren’t applicable in the other style.  Ah well.

  Let’s see…what else is there to report?  I heard from alot of friends this weekend.  I feel loved!  Really, seriously I felt very happy as I went to sleep on sunday.  I felt remembered, special.  That’s something I can’t say very often, but I never tire of.
