Random Thoughts & French Fries

Good day to all. Before I begin today’s entry, I want to share some random thoughts from this morning.

“Easy cowboy, you gotta mount up before you can ride.”

“You were hot…until you opened your mouth.”

“Tightness alarm!!”

Okay, random thoughts over. *laughs* I’m not explaining them either. It’s more fun that way. Anyway, last night wasn’t all that great. I ran into some bad problems with my family. My mother and I got into an arguement and it wasn’t pretty. It didn’t even have a resolution or at least an ending. My father came home and the arguement ended. Then in the evening my sister and I got into it. I just really wanted to get out of the house…for good. I still do, it’s just that right now I’m at school, so I don’t feel as stressed. *laughs* Most college students would argue with that around this time, since it’s finals. Which reminds me to tell you..I have a final this morning. Anyway, it just feels a lot more peaceful in my life right now. I didn’t sleep all that great…well, actually I did sleep well. But I ended up staying up later than I should have or expected to. So, I just didn’t get enough sleep. Anyway, so I got to school this morning and decided I wanted a little something to eat before going to class. So I walked over to this place called Whataburger. I don’t know where else in the US or other countries it’s based and I know it’s kind of a strange name. Anyway, one of the things I love about this place is that you can get a burger there no matter what time it is. You know how at some places, they’ll only give you what’s on the breakfast menu until a certain time. Well, this place doesn’t. Anyway, I didn’t want anything big so I just got a small order of french fries. Yes, that’s right FRENCH…not freedom fries. I think that term is kind of an oxymoron. If it wasn’t for France, we wouldn’t have had our own freedom from British rule. Anyway, before I start going off on that. hehe. So, I got my french fries and started walked back to the university. It felt so nice. I was out on my own, away from family, the morning is warm with a nice cool breeze. I could smell water and wet earth from where the sprinklers had watered. I can’t say for other places…but here in the desert, we can just smell water a different way. Maybe cause it’s the desert. I don’t know…can’t really explain it. So, there I was in comfortable clothes, a light backpack, my fries and a good day. Funny random thoughts going through my mind. It lifted my spirits and I feel good going to take my final.
