CoH CoS (Chapter 24)

There was deafening silence. Knight and Arias had dropped to their knees in awe and suprise. Then a voice, soft and weak spoke.

“Damien?”

Damien’s eyes filled with tears. They dripped unchecked down his face. He spoke, his voice low and hoarse.

“Welcome back Honey.”

“Chip, take her.”

Chip ran over and took Honey from Damien’s arms. Damien looked at Honey smiling softly and then collapsed.

“Damien!” Honey called out and reached out weakly toward him. Anita and two Knights ran over and gently picked Damien up.

“It’s alright Honey. Damien is just exhausted. That took alot of energy from him. He just needs rest.” Chip said.

“What happened Chip?”

“It’s better if you rest too Honey. The time for stories is in the future.”

The unit gathered together and disappeared in a flash of gold and silver.
