You missed me, go ahead and admit it!

What a wild ride I had this trip….

Autumn and I flew down on Monday and upgraded to business class… Let me tell you.. NEVER FLY ON MONDA; Especially out of Atlanta. Business class was packed even.

So we get to Daytona and the first place we go – even before dropping the bags off is to the hospital in Ormond Beach to see my dad. HE was in good spirits and had a lot of color on his face…He had the nurse buy him some sandwiches because the food they brought him was horrible and even the sandwiches were bad. HE came home one Tuesday. Tuesday he slept most of the day and mom, baby and I went shopping, my favorite thing to do…especially when I Have gift cards to spend!

Wednesday was my SSI Disability Doctor appointment. Not sure how that went yet, if I have to go to hearing or not, He had all of Dr Benezette’s notes in front of him across the room and he would push and prod me and asked me if this hurt or that hurt, asked about my headaches, and had me do the whole turn your head to the left then the right,,,(left is no problem, right is really impaired) He sat at his desk and circled stuff on Dr, B’s notes in red and I am not sure if it is a good thing or if Red pen was all he had.

I did get more samples of Maxalt and a new Disability Plaque app from Dr. B. and got the things purchased. Thank the Lord on that one because I can barely spend half an hour in the store and I am leaning over the cart because I hurt so bad and can barely walk.

After the first few days I was ready to come home, but aren’t we all ready for that after the first few days? Autumn had a blast though and she seemed to make my dad happy when he wasn’t sleeping.

Thursday night my sister came in really late and because my mom’s house is so small her husband stayed with his parents and Nett and my niece and her friend stayed with my mom and us. We had a big sleep over on air mattresses.

It rained most of the time I was down there and the red tide bloom was in the area so we could not get in the ocean but we did swim in the pool where my syster used to work. They still love her there,

Autumn had one of those life vest swim suits on and was swimming all over the pool … once I download my phone pics I will show you some. (If I can remember.)

Speaking of remembering… I am such a wreck,

When I made my reservations I could have sworn I made them to return to Atlanta on Sunday from the Daytona Airport. I knew it was somewhere around 3pm but I didn’t have my reservation paper so I called the airline to check and they said my reservation was for SATURDAY leaving in 20 minutes. There was no way I was going to make that … we had stuff scattered all over my mom’s house….

I asked them how much to change to a flight out on Sunday thinking it would be just the $60 upgrade fee… but no… it was $75 per person PLUS over $500 each. I had a melt down. BigBonJoviFan– If you remember the one I had that weekend this one was WORSE. I literally had a break down. Thank the Lord my sister was there and took over and pretended to be me. She got me a flight out of Orlando at 8:40pm and I got into Atlanta at 10 something. and it was only a total of like $300 something,

Well at least I have something to talk to my councilor about on Friday when she comes to see me.

My mom, who I NEVER get sympathy from, not that I really blame her, she worked in a hospital for over 20 years and saw lots of things, told me she thinks I need to check myself into a mental institution. Can you believe that???

Oh but that Saturday gets even better…. I went to return some items to the store that did not fit me and I spent more than what the gift card was (as usual) so no biggie to return the things… except the girl at hte counter said she would have to put the financial return on a gift card,,,,, and her manager was out to supper. We left and about an hour later went back and a different woman was at the register and took the merchandise back and credited my credit card. YEA

My sister and my mom purchased some of the other items from me as they liked them and since they are thinner than me they looked better on them than me. so it all worked out.

Except for the Airline problem I had…. I spent almost no money at all this trip. Praise the Lord.

So Kal picks me up at the airport at 10something and we have to wait half an hour for my bags….we did not get home til after 12. He had to be up for work at 7, Poor guy.

Anyhow that was my past. How was yours?

Since I have been home I have had done nothing except I did unpack which for me is good since it usually takes me at least two weeks to empty the suitcases!

There was a huge stack of mail to go through so I did….

Kal forgot to send in the title to the car so we did not get a check for the smooshed car yet…..

OK now for my positive thinking…… M will be proud *she is my councilor*

My daughter is almost 100% potty trained. Even for night time!!!!! WOOT

We flew coach and I did not die

The house was still standing when I got home

I am reading a book called the Da Vinci Hoax (lots of big words and no pictures LOL different than the cat in the hat)

I am using meditation music and things to try to control my emotions a bit better—trying my best to take some time for me.

Keeping my paper Journal

And just happy to be alive so I can smell flowers, enjoy thunderstorms, watch the birds, have my cat therapy, hug my daughter and my husband, and write to you all.

I missed you.
