Yes it is the Dakk

I have so much to write about – but I have not had the energy to do so. So much get out but where to start even.

I guess just let it flow as it wants to… it may not make sense but oh well, when, lately, have I really made any sense?

First the sad, sad, sad news:
AFLAC Ducky Duck has died. She was attacked by an owl. I found her last week and was sick to my stomach… there was not much left of her….

Health/disability news:
The disability attorney had me come in for an appointment to ask me MORE questions that I already answered. They wanted me to get MRIs and see more doctors… so I am in the process of complying with their requests. I had an MRI of my neck and back two weeks ago. I see my neurologist again on Wednesday next. I have an appointment with the Rheumatologist on April 25th and waiting for my neurologist to set an appointment with the orthopedic.

Migraines are still happening about 1-2 a week. Neurologist took me off the Zoloft and put me on Cymbalta in the hopes that it will also help stop the headaches. He is concerned that I have to take the Maxalt and/or Relpax (migraine meds) as frequently as I am.

Kal is worried about my memory and fatigue. My memory is really shot. I forget simple things. Neuro is hoping having the new anti-depressant will help all aspects of my condition.

Homefront:
Kal is doing well. Really busy with work. They had over 200 new employees he had to do computer installs for in the last month and a half!

Autumn is definitely in her terrible twos now. She is refusing to eat much but I think it is due to the fact she is cutting like 5 teeth right now – including molars. She is growing up before our eyes. Her vocabulary is growing every day and she is smart as a whip. She will be 21 months old tomorrow. I will get some photos of her posted soon.

Star Wars Galaxies & other online game stuff:
I am really enjoying the changes they have made. Except for the Chat changes and the fact we no longer have target lock. I have two toons – one is my Jedi and the other is an entertainer. LOL This next publish (27) Jedi get some lovin and are made more powerful and we get the Jedi Mind Trick. The next publish (28) entertainers are supposed to get some lovin… though they won’t tell us what is in store for us.

I have been working hard as mayor of our city and sorta co-leader of our guild. I have built our city up to a Metropolis – but I am still recruiting. We have a base of 35 active players. But I am working on getting another 50 active players so we can stay metropolis if they ever do a house purge (where they remove the houses of inactive players)

I had a friend send me an invite to play Second Life. I downloaded the game but it would not run on my computer. I do not have a compatible video card.

Oh well, I had another friend SWG who tried it and said it has become a Porno game. Harmless flirting to me is ok and my entertainer in SWG does flirt – but there is NO WAY in HELL you will get me or my toon to Cyber sex. To me it is just as if you are cheating in real life and I have made vows to Kal. Besides I cannot get turned on by pixilated people getting it on.

I do not judge other people if they do – as they are adults and can do as they please… I am just going to stay away from it. SWG has some people that try to use the game in the same way. Even though their TOS specifically states they are not to do such things. I have no problem if they get their jollies by cybering in the game or not – so long as they do it in private – but there are some that do it in the cantinas typing it out for everyone to read. I do report those players after warning them – because there are 10 year olds who play the game. That is definitely not setting a good example for them. You cannot tell in this game who is a child and who is not – I mean even the behavior of some older people could be taken as that of a kid…. And to be absolutely clear — I am not condemning anyone who does the above so long as it is in private – I just choose not to do it and not to be around it.

Ok stepping off my soapbox…

Baby is up I need to run. I am hoping to get into the groove of writing again. I am just so freakin tired all the time.

I hope I did not make anyone upset about what I wrote.
