Update on me

Since I wrote last (not counting the entry before this one) here is what has been going on.

BLEEDING:

I woke up Friday morning about 1am and there was more blood. Redder than the day before. Not more quantity just redder. I freaked out and woke up DH and he said to see if it kept flowing and it did not. I laid back down and got up every hour and a half to pee as usual. Thank goodness there wasn’t any more bright red blood. Just the old blood like before.

I called the doc’s office to let them know and to ask a couple of questions. The NP I saw on Thursday was off so I spoke with another and she said she would let me speak with the US tech so I could find out just what was up with the bleeding and what she saw on the US.

The Tech said the bleeding was low on the uterus. No where near the placenta. She said it was most likely a capillary that broke open. I asked her why blood would pool in an two hours one time but not in other two hour spans. She said she could not answer that. One of the mysteries of things. She told me not to worry though because a little blood can seem like a lot more than what it actually is. Also she said the blood was brighter red because I got up sooner than I had the day before and it did not have time to get “old”.

I have not had any large amounts of bleeding like I did those two times. I still have small amounts of Old Blood that spot though but nothing near what it was on Thursday or Friday.

CLOTHES NOT FITTING:

Ok it has happed. I cannot fit in my jeans, jean shorts and other stretchy pants. I tried to wear the stretch jeans and they even will not fit. My stretchy shorts are tight in the waist. UGH.

So DH took me to Target to find a pair of Maternity Jeans and to get me a larger maternity bra (38C are too small). I came to the conclusion that Target Sucks for Maternity wear. Their idea of maternity jeans are elastic waists. That is just NOT going to work. I need jeans with the stretchy elastic material in the front panel. They did not have any maternity bras in my size either.

I looked in the yellow pages for maternity stores and we have NONE. I guess I need to plan a trip to Orlando.

Other news:

Once again – there is no other news besides my being sick of laying around all day doing nothing…..

any kind of bleeding is scary… i’m glad you had understanding professionals working with you… when i miscarried the doctor wasn’t very empathetic at all… since it’s a rotating practice he just happened to be the doctor on call that night i called hysterical about my bleeding… i hope to god that i do not wind up with him when i go into labor… (con’t)

i’m glad to hear that you’re baby’s fine and that it wasn’t anything too serious… i’ll keep you in my thoughts and please feel free to email me anytime 🙂 i’ve found that both Target and Walmart suck in the maternity dept… i’ve found some nice things through the JCPenney maternity catalog… and some nice stuff at Motherhood although they are really weird with their return (con’t)

polisies though… so far i’ve found that big sweats are the way to go when you’re just bumming around the house… heh-heh!… also, Ebay has some good deals on maternity clothes as well… just a fyi… 🙂

Bleeding… yikes. I worry about you, hun! Awwwww. The child care center on campus is right outside my window. The cutest little Asian girl just got picked up by her mom. I love Asian children, they’re so adorable. Children are mostly adorable. I’m babbling… I’m going to stop now. Lol..

you might just have a sensitive cervix, that’s what they said I have (bad cervix, bad!) We’re going to be in Orlando in December, I’ll keep you posted. Oh and my waist is growing but my big ole boobs seem to be the same (I thought I’d share) xxx

How can you have NO maternity stores? Do they think women in your town shouldn’t be pregnant or what? That’s so frustrating. I was mad that we only have one store but at least we have that one…

I am sorry about the bleeding. 🙁 Sears has a maternity section. you can try that out. 🙂 And there are some cute consignment stores in our area with maternity clothes.

I hated Target’s stuff when I was preggers too, I don’t even know what kind of pants they had I just thought it was all so ugly. I basically gave up on maternity pants & wore sweats 🙂

Oh I so understand about the clothing… I have also grown out of my 38C as well. Clothes with elastics are way to uncomfortable, I have been wearing a lot of pants with drawstrings that can grow with me. 🙂

LoL Your notes about the “dentsit” made me laugh SO hard! Rocky thinks I’m losing it. Maybe I am. HAHaha…

I loved my jeans with the elastic front stretchy panel. LOVED. But maternity dresses are cool too. Maybe Walmart?

Glad to hear it wasn’t anything too serious and the baby is doing o.k. I hope you are able to find a better store soon.

Neither does Walmart. You could thrift shop. I found some really lovely stuff. Then Char’s cousin’s wife loaned me a ton of maternity wear. She works in a law office so it is all lovely stuff. (Except one dress that looks ghastly.)
