today I am

going with my sister to her friend’s pool. WOOT I am hoping the water will take the pressure off my back for a bit and the coolness of the water will help with the swelling in my hands and feet. The sunshine is good too. I need to work on getting rid of the white spots I have from when I was sunburned the LAST time I went to the beach. LOL

Had my Hot Wings last night. MMM I make my sauce Hot and Sweet. We had a really hot batch of Texas Pete so it was extra fiery. LOL

I designed my Shower thank you cards yesterday. DH is making my copies so I can then write my thank-you notes out this weekend. I tell ya it is hard being proper. When I got married 8 years ago I did not send out thank you cards and I felt really bad. Life got in the way and before I realized it 2 years had gone by. I think it was too late to send out thank you’s then.

We took the sewing machine in to see about getting it repaired. $20 for him to look at it and if it can be fixed he will apply the $20 to the cost of repair and cleaning. If it is simple to fix it will be a total cost of $40. He said I should know something or be able to pick the machine up today or tomorrow. Yes he has Saturday hours – odd I know.

Well, not much else to write about at the moment; just getting ready to head out with my fambily. (Yes, I spelled that wrong on porpoise)
