The mear thought of the word boob

or feeding the baby and the milk starts flowing.

Not just drops mind you — a stream.

Anyone else have this happen to them???

I’m just a milk machine…. La la la la la

Someone left a comment about breast pumps in a past entry – about double pumping… I really wanted one of those but they were so expensive. I had to settle for the single pump. good thing is that it can be either battery operated or I can use the AC plug. WOOT. I mean Moo!

Second entry for today

Gads — no one wants to clean my cat boxes. sigh. I guess I will do it when company is here – that way they can hold Autumn while it is done.

lol, catboxes. NOOOOOOOOOO!

aww. i’ve never been pregnant, so i don’t know how it works. i bet it can be pretty annoying at times, though! you are so blessed to be having a baby 🙂 i can’t wait until it’s my time!

speaking of catboxes. That reminds me. I better go do that now. 🙂

I know, those pumps are really expensive!

Yuck!!

oh…my…god…I’m never having kids.

RYN: Funny we were reading and noting at the same time. Yup, part of them getting out so late is because of Isabelle (hurricane) and partly because they start back so late. Erin’s already out of school too.

I had a problem going anywhere when I was breast feeding. I remember once going to a wedding. I wasn’t even thinking and drank 2 glasses of water…next thing I know…here comes the milk. I had pads in and everything and I still leaked through. I had to go home. So trust me, I can relate to the whole, I’m A Milk Machine….comment 🙂 Once Autumn gets on a regular schedule your milk will slow..

down and now produce as often. The more she nurses the more you produce. God help you if you have to stop nursing cold turkey. That’s the most painful thing in the entire world. Worse than labour IMO.

Lol, I love the whole I’m a milk machine. I am already lactating (28 weeks) I hope that is not a sign of things to come! 🙁 I’m just a milk machine! hahahahahha stephanie

You can rent those breast pumps through the Apothacary in Daytona. I did it with Meghan. You just buy the attatchments which I think cost 10.00. And you return the maching when you are done. They are really nice, double ones. 🙂

lol that happens to me or if I read about someone else nursing their baby or something like that ~ajaye

my boobs were like a water fall of milk. join the boobie club!

June 3, 2004

At first mine did the same thing. But now they are kinda ‘slowing’ down a bit. Doing what they are supposed to, and not spraying down the Bug and everything else nearby. Like the dogs. Kisses

That used to happen to me! lol

im not that bad, but when he gets the milk flowing it really starts flowing

ryn: I agree everyone is different, but the diet was never meant for people to use without doctor supervision–and it isn’t meant to be a Lifetime change, most people are either unaware of that or just stubbornly stick to it because they are unaware that it is so bad for your liver and kidneys over time. The original Atkins diet was created for people who had heart disease–it was a short term(c)

June 3, 2004

alternative diet meant to unclog arteries and strengthen the circulatory system by flushing out the fats and plaque in the arteries and heart. I just get so angry when people see things as permanent that are meant to be transitory–especially something that is quite honestly going to damn near kill you if you stay on it too long.On the other hand, I can make a fortune with for-profit (c)

dialysis centers. /end rant On other matters, its good to hear you sounding like you feel so much better. I’ve missed you!

I’ll clean your cat boxes. and yes I had the milk problem when ever ANY baby would cry. Jesse used to fake cry just to make then leak.

June 3, 2004

oh yeah, and I used to accidentally squirt my ex sometimes. And once a total stranger–so no, you aren’t the only one 🙂

June 3, 2004

Oh yeah, and just wait until you’re standing in line at the store, Autumn is home with her dad and someone’s baby starts crying and you SOAK your shirt with milk. Soooo embarassing!

June 3, 2004

Don’t they have “nursing pads” you can put in your bra? They’re supposed to be plastic on the outside so that they keep the milk from soaking through. I’ve heard some mothers say they don’t do the job, though. My youngest niece as an infant once tried to nurse on Marvin. It was hilarious.

June 3, 2004

My milk came in very early (next day) I was like a cow! Thro the night I would hear babies crying and I would leak and leak and leak. At one point I just wanted to pick them all up and feed them..! Kell

June 3, 2004

Lordie Lady.. you wearing sponges in those cups, cause by the sounds of it, the little catch pads they give you for catching drips is not going to work. Be thankful you don’t have to pay for formula, that stuff gets damn expensive. Have fun, enjoy the baby. Take care. Hugs.

June 3, 2004

Yup, that’s totally normal in the beginning. It helps to make sure your supply is adequate. 🙂 For the majority of women, that’ll calm down by 6-8 weeks once nursing is established. For me though, it still hasn’t. Kind of annoying to still spray when your babe is 10mos :-/ But I have Overactive letdown. ~:) Babs

June 3, 2004

LOL I was a milk machine…had enough for two and then some! haha

June 4, 2004

Yes. When I was nursing Jewel it could come out like that. It’s funny now. Not then. I had to wear pads in my bra because I would leak if I heard a baby cry, even if it wasn’t mine. Fun is…. Blessings.

June 5, 2004

Oh yeah we become a fountain of milk after having a baby! It is crazy!!! Shayla Rae ~:)

make that man change that cat box 😛

June 7, 2004
