She said WHAT?????

Excuse me???

Off of the FOXNews.com site —

Teresa Heinz Kerry (search) is apologizing emphatically to Laura Bush for saying, “My experience is a little bit bigger” than the first lady’s since, “I don’t know that she’s ever had a real job.”

Ok – Laura Bush was a School Teacher and a Librarian – but that is not the part that gets me riled up.

It is that LAST LINE “I don’t know that she’s ever had a real job.”

It frustrates me to no end these women who think working IN the home is not a real job! It is HARDER!!! I know – I worked for YEARS outside the home and just last November became the housewife and SAHM.

I am sorry Mrs. Kerry – but if I were you I would watch your comments about working in the home. You may PISS OFF the SAHMs. You have this one.

Second entry for today – and you may guess who I am not voting for….

I appreciate everyone who respects my right to my opinions. All MEAN NOTES WILL BE DELETED – Go to the forums at CAMELias.us if you want to debate – AND NOT FLAME EITHER. My diary is NOT the place for debate. Thank you.

I can’t believe someone would say that! I certainly wouldn’t be voting for them! *shakes head*

I can’t believe she said that

October 21, 2004

blah – it’s amazing to me how people can STILL think that way. *scoffs*

I heard that today too – she apologized after the fact when someone reminded her of Laura Bush’s jobs outside the home. She’s got such a big mouth. And I have to say I have THE highest respect for SAHMs…not that I didn’t before, but now that I have Olivia and see exactly HOW much work it is….I don’t know how people do it!

I can’t stand that woman~

October 21, 2004

Ugh, I do not like that lady!

October 21, 2004

wow. i’d like to see her be a teacher for a day. i’m beginning to think that she and her husband have a bit of a problem controlling their mouths.

Nancy Reagan set a precedent for First Ladies that no one since has been able to live up to.

ugh.

ryn: thank you very much!! I have felt so alone this last week. Sadly I do not have yahoo messenger capablities. however my email and AIM is makananakara@aol.com

Open mouth, insert foot. Don’t forget the ketchup.

I am not surprised. That woman is a complete bitch, plain and simple. I really shudder if she becomes 1st Lady.

October 21, 2004

how stupid is she?

I’m making lost entries private so you know, okay? love ya!

October 21, 2004

blah. What a wife said has nothing to do with the husbands ability to run the country. When are we Americans going to realize what it is all really about and concentrate on what is important instead of what is NOT important. Kerry’s wife isn’t running for President and neither is Laura Bush.

What a dumb@$$. Being a SAHM is so much harder than my 70-hour a week + on-call job. I bet she’s had nannies and maids all her life and thinks being a mom means taking your kids to the zoo. Or maybe the opera. LoL!!!!

RYN: I love that story. I think it is great. If my nieces come over and I make a cake or something. I ask if they want to help and they always say no. So one day I told them that story. Now they help, and if they don’t I say, “you remember the hen story” and they jump on the opertunity to help!

October 21, 2004

*rolls eyes…what a dumbass

October 22, 2004

That’s the first I’ve heard of this. Thank goodness for OD, or I’d be out of the loop, LOL. Not a very nice thing to say… 🙁

That’s not the first time she stuck her foot in her mouth and I have a feeling it won’t be the last!! According to Dr. Phil, stay at home mom’s have the equalivant of TWO FULL TIME JOBS. I won’t have Mrs. Kerry fool any of us. She needs to get off her high horse and come down to our level for once.
