Queasy Wheesy & Some Junk

Today has been a bad queasy day. I am not sure what set it off, but at 8 am this morning I needed to sit by the commode. Thank goodness I did not have to talk to Ralph this morning.

I invited dad over for lunch since mom is still in Michigan with Daddy-O. Dad was in the mood for grilled cheese. I love grilled cheese and tomato soup. They just go together. Well not for me today. I ate on half a grilled cheese and gave the other half to dad. I am just about gagged when I tried to eat my soup. For some reason I am not having a good relationship with tomatoes. I cannot eat them on burgers, salads and evidently, soup. sigh. So I am drinking my water so I do not dehydrate and I ate some crackers a little bit ago. I have DH’s supper marinating in the fridge. I will start the grill soon.

Gads I hope I can eat something for supper.

Dad is doing good. He is missing mom. He does not do to good when she is not around. He had a doctor appointment today. They are switching his insulin to a stronger one. No longer on the blended one. Darn. He was doing so well for a while too. I worry about him sometimes. He is the type of guy who would eat a half gallon of ice cream and then take an insulin shot to counter act it. He has gotten better about watching his diet though. THANK GOODNESS. I want him around for his grandchild.

I started my e-learning stuff for the Microsoft Certified Professional in Office today. Made it through the first part of the core Excel and went to take the test and the program freaked out. Now I need to do the test again. I am doing the core (basics) just to brush up. There are some things in the programs that are considered basic that one does not use very often. And a refresher is always good. I need to just sit down and not have any distractions when I am doing this stuff. I kept getting bored and got up to clean the bathroom and finish some things in the kitchen.

No word from Mom (Auntie Anxiety) about Daddy-O. I am going to suppose that everything is still the same and there has been no change.

No word on the job front yet either. I guess Spherion is waiting until I know my due date. Only two sleeps to go till Friday! WOOT

I wish my mom was going to be here for the ultrasound. I will scan any pics we have and post them for y’all. Not that it will be anything major. This is just to determine gestational age.

Well I better go start the grill before DH comes home. I will try to think of something to write in a new entry… How about Weekly World News headlines for this week??? 🙂
