My sister is leaving today.
I am very sad. I love her so much. You guys – if you knew her, would love her too.
I have not been myself for so long now, having her around has started to bring out some of my old self. My wild and crazy don’t care what anyone thinks, self. We are loud, laugh, and reminisce about our years growing up in Northern Michigan — off of a dirt road off of a dirt road off of a dirt road. LOL We had a very crazy unusual child hood .with Army tanks pulling in our driveway lost and 600 pound black bears on our deck to the pets we had from dogs and cats to goats, horses, rabbits and chickens. Ask her about Ralph the Rooster sometime. We both left our small town – ended up meeting up again and working at the same resort in Gaylord MI then moved to Daytona the first time and were room mates for about a year then we went our own ways again and I ended up in the same condo in Daytona in 1993 (before I met Kal) when she was pregnant with my niece D while her husband was on the road all the time. Then I moved to the condo next to her condo.
We parted ways again when I moved to SC to get married in 1995. Kal and I moved back to FL in 1998 and I did not get to see my sister as much as I would have liked but we were still best friends. When we moved up to GA it was hard for me to leave her and my parents. When we purchased our house in July of this year she was going to get all my plants from my yard and my Father in Laws yard and bring them up but they all were stolen.
When I went down for my doctor appointment in August she had just moved to North Carolina the weekend before. When I went down for the Disability Doctor appointment she arranged it so we could at least see each other for a day or two. (That was my messed up ticket incident that she took control of and fixed for me)
We did not get along growing up (teen years). Not anything new there. I think most siblings don’t. But something happened when we both hit the 20s. She is still crazier than I but, she is good for me.
She is a strong, lovely woman who is an ESE Teacher.
She has to leave today to go back to North Carolina. I don’t want her to go even though I know she has to. She takes a little of the best part of me with her when she leaves.
