My lunch with Deep Within

I had lunch yesterday with Deep Within and her beautiful children Connor and Meghan.

We had agreed to meet at 1 p.m. to avoid the lunch rush. I, being the early bird I always am, left my house at 12:25 because I could not remember exactly how long it would take me to get to the restaurant. I have a real bad concept of travel time. It only took me 10 minutes. So thinking I was going to be the first one there, I pull in and right in front of where I park is a car with two car seats in it.

“Hmmmm,” I thought to myself, “I wonder if she could be here already.”

Sure enough, as I am walking up to the restaurant I recognized the blond curly hair from Deep Within’s diary as being those of Meghan! I thought I was the only person who was usually early to things. (my family is one of those who operate on their own time table – usually everyone is an hour behind the norm – except for me – I run half an hour fast)

I enjoyed myself so much! Mehgan is a very bright little girl and she is very well behaved. Although, she could not decide if she like butter on her bread or not. 🙂 Connor is a doll. I thought he was older than three months. He is a very large baby but also a very happy one. (Deep, was he just being good because I was there? hee hee)

We talked about lots of things from where we were born to food to babies to me even sharing some of my families deep dark secrets…. LOL (only because they seem so outrageous and kinda funny)

My impressions of Deep are these: she is a caring, funny, warm, delightful person who has a lot of responsibility and is doing a fantastic job with raising her two kids. She is a beautiful person both on the outside and on the inside. I applaud her strength and courage. And I cherish our new friendship.

🙂 If you have not read her diary yet, you can find it here: Deep Within

🙁 I don’t have access… is she on favorites only?

I’ve already read her a couple of times, she seems lovely. It’s great when first you meet online people in person and secondly when they turn out to be wonderful! xxx

She is awesome, I am jealous that you met her.

I’m glad you had a good lunch. Meeting OD people in person is like nothing else!
