Do you like to cook and bake? OMG YES

Do you use recipes or do you like to experiment? I do both. Some of my best dishes can only be made ONCE. LOL

Do you like to try out new recipes? Yes -I have cookbooks and I visit Foodnetwork.com. allrecipes.com, recipesource.com as well as recipes freinds give me.

Is there a kitchen motto? Too Many Cooks Mess Up The Place (hee hee)

What meals are you having during the day? What are you eating for them normally? Do you snack inbetween? I usually do not cook for just myself. I am one of those people who tend to cook a TON of food. I knosh on things through out the day or eat frozen meals for lunch.

What are you cooking today? Hmm Today? For breakfast From Scratch Buttermilk Biscuits and Sausage Gravy For luch – hopefully Kal will take me out to La Fiesta since we have errands to do.

What was the last thing you baked? Lucy’s Lemon Squares (I have a Peanuts cookbook my grandma gave me in 1972)

Are there things you don’t like? Oh my YES! I cannot stand Quiche or omlettes. Both induce the gag reflex

Is there something you refuse to cook or bake? Not really. I do tend to put some things off even after hubby repetedly asks for it. I eventually cook it.

What would you cook/bake more often if it would not take so much time, had not so many calories, would not be so expensive or what so ever? I would love to do a prime rib

Do you make a difference between working day and weekend? Nope

What was the first meal you cooked alone? toast

What was the first meal you cooked for you better half? I think it was home made encheladas but I cannot remember

Does your better half cook too?He can cook Beanie Weenies and Batchelor Surprise. Mostly I he steers clear of the kitchen

Do you like it if someone helps you in the kitchen? Not really. My kitchen is super tiny. No counter space and not much room to work

Who cleans the kitchen after cooking/baking? Me, usually. Kal helps out every so often and then there are days like yesterday when my sister cleaned up for me.

Who does the grocery shopping? Do you write a list in advance? I do. Kal goes with me sometimes. Yes I write a list – Do I stick to it? NOPE

What do you cook or bake for guests? And do you risk to try out new stuff if you have guests? I cook what ever I am cooking for my family. And of course I try out new things on guests… they are the best guinea pigs!

Do you like to have leftovers? Not really. Some things like chili, lasagna and beef stew are great when they sit a day but for the most part – if it is left over it will sit in the fridge and grow hair. UNLESS my sister is here for supper. Then I send the left overs home with her for her, her family and my parents.
