Cord Blood

DH and I discussed banking Autumn’s cord blood. We decided that we are going to donate it instead of banking it for ourselves.

There are several reasons for this the main reason is that we wanted to donate it so we may be able to help someone else in need.

I think we made a good decision that is right for us.

We are going to donate. I jsut found out that the kind of cancer my grandmother passed away from can now be cured with the cord blood. That makes it worth it to me.

Anything donated can make a world of difference! You are not UGLY! That noter is so wrong and I would not worry about what he/she thinks! Some people just need a slap!

make sure you talk to the doctors about this BEFORE you go into labor. I decided to wait til I was in labor…yeah, then I forgot all about it.

I tried to get my “sis in law” to donate but she either didn’t want to or didn’t care. It saddens me that a lot of people don’t really give a crap until it happens to them. Good for you!
