Another Quick Question for you all

I have been watching Discovery Health channel allot lately and they have a lot of shows about plastic surgery.

I started thinking and asking myself if I would ever, if I had the money, have plastic surgery.

I really had not thought about it before. Would I do it? Could I do it?

Tummy Tuck, liposuction? I just don’t know if I could.

How about you all, would you, could you, have you?

Third entry for the day.

i would.

April 20, 2004

I would. Not to change per say…but to put back what being a mommy took away..LOL…

i wouldnt. i think its extremely shallow to do. unless its a matter of life or death. such as skin graphs and what not..

Absolutely! I am almost 70 and considering a face lift… Oh, I am not signed on. This is Patrisha

April 20, 2004

i’d like to get Tummy Tuck, liposuction and a boob job but being honest with myself i do not think i could go through with it

April 20, 2004

i’d like to let them take my tummy fat and put it up in my boobs lol

April 20, 2004

LOL That made me laugh…is there that size out there? I would go from the smallest a cup to maybe a b cup and yup they can do that lol

hell yeah! Id get fixed up if money wasn’t an issue. Definatly a tummy tuck and a boob job…. and if there is any help with stretch marks…. Id JUMP at the chance.

April 20, 2004

I don’t think I would, dunno though..lol

I would do it. I went from a DD to a C and B (now) after 2 kids. My boobs in a heatrbeat. I want my perky boobs back.

Hi! :o) Please come join my forum! I’m looking for some friendly new members! :o) http://www.toxic-kiss.net/mommyboard

April 20, 2004

I would, But not to change anything. Just a lift {i want my perky breasts back, hehee!} and a few tucks here and their. I’d also have 2 large scars removed.

April 20, 2004

I would not. Exercise, healthy diet and confidence are all you need to be happy with yourself. I saw a show today called Extreme Plastic Surgery. There was a lady on there who had like 49 plastic surgeries and she looked HORRIBLE. Something about someone having a tight face that doesn’t look pretty to me.

ummmm no. after kids you usually lose a cup size of more. Posr nursing etc.

April 20, 2004

I wouldnt do it………dont know why, but i wouldnt…things always get messed up when you mess with mother nature!

April 20, 2004

If money were plentiful I’d have more plastic surgery. After my weight loss(lost 200lbs), my stomach got really saggy and nasty so I had a tummy tuck. My doctor removed 27lbs of loose skin and fat. I want to have four more surgeries. Boobs, upper arms, thighs and back. Loose droopy skin makes me selfconcious.

I wouldn’t do it unless it is necessary (like a life-threatening situation). I can’t handle the anethesia or pain.

Id bever have plastic surgery, its not worth the hassle, my Aunt had suction once, she was porky and wanted to be thin, and yeah it worked for a while but now she isporky again, what a waste of money. Nope im happy for what I am, and just cant be messing with Mother Nature.

I am on the list to get a tummy tuck. I was sepost to have one they we found out i was preggy (i lost Angel in my first trimester), but i am still on the list to have it done. I have decided to WAIT untill AFTER i have my nexy child (we will try with fertitly meds in the summer). but yes…I am going to have a tummy tuck and lipo!

April 21, 2004

ABSOLUTELY!!!! My dh had gastric bypass and he needs to have some skin removed. If I ever lost like 100 lbs and was at my ideal weight I would feel like I have EARNED a little tummy tuck to clean up my stretched out stuff!! Maybe a little enhancement for the “girls” too! 🙂 Wishful thinking though, because I would only do it after loosing all the weight!

April 21, 2004

I’m not a big fan of my nose so I’d probs get a nose job done, even though my hubby says it’s a lovely nose. I might also consider lipsuction but that doesn’t get rid of cellulite unfortunately. Those are maybe’s….the definite would be laser eye surgery which isn’t really plastic surgery.

April 21, 2004

no, i wouldn’t. if i need to cut back on the weight, i would do it by diet and exercise. that stuff is unnatural!

April 21, 2004

I’m not sure… I tend to want to say no. But never say never!

I think I’d be quite scared to have plastic surgery. But maybe if I had the funds and they could alter certain bits I would. But then would that make me less like me? Plus would I become obsessed with being perfect. Right now I think the answer is no!

RYN: Yes ante-natal is pre-natal. We just call it ante-natal!

April 21, 2004

i want my boobs back. *LOL* other then that, i don’t think i would do anything else. who knows, though. interesting answers up there. *hugs*

April 21, 2004

I dont’ know. A tummy tuck might be nice, but I don’t know. Blessings.

I wouldn’t change my face; not that I think it’s great or anything. My face is just who *I* am. I’d without a doubt get some fat sucked my various parts of my body and a boob job would be nice. I would like to have boobies. lol. What about you?

April 21, 2004

If someone else was paying…Hell yeah! 😛 I’d get my teeth done, my upper arms worked on, a breast job, lipo on my thighs, my skin worked on… *daydreams*

If I had the money, I’d get the works, and I mean everything

April 21, 2004

No way. Even if I was the ugliest person in the world. I don’t think these SWAN people know what they’re getting into. If they base their entire self-worth on their looks, they’re going to be disappointed because there will still be people out there who treat them badly. Most of them, it seems like their husbands are total jerks who will most likely leave them when they realize how good looking

April 21, 2004

their wives are now. I watched the show the other night and it made me sick. These girls are not that bad looking! They need a Mary Kay makeover, hair lessons, and perhaps a therapist but not plastic surgery!

April 21, 2004

Also… I worked at a place where we had a plastic surgeon on staff. He messed up some people’s bodies/faces and it was HORRIBLE. Those surgeries can go SO wrong in a matter of seconds… I can’t think of anything scarier than that.

I don’t even wear make up (except maybe once a year), so I don’t see myself getting plastic surgery! There is the very rare chance of death or serious complications in all of those procedures, and I don’t think it’s worth risking. And with liposuction, the fat’s just going to come back on most people, unless they can make a major lifestyle change. cont…

April 21, 2004

LMAO – the more my belly grows and stretches the more I think “tummy tuck, how bad could it be?” I don’t know if I’d ever have the nerve or money or anything to do it, I just find it amusing that I’m actually thinking about it! xxx

Anyway, I’m pretty happy with my life, and I don’t think happy people are often compelled to go through the pain of surgery with the hope of being more attractive.

Well, now that I think about it, maybe if I had a REALLY freakishly large nose or chin, I would have surgery. Nothing about me is that abnormal, so maybe that’s why I think I would never have plastic surgery.

April 21, 2004

I have though about it, tummy tuck, breast lift, lipo on my thighs and hips (to make them proportionate to the rest of my body), get the two teeth next to my front ones capped so they don’t look so tiny and freakish, file down my two front ones but uh. lol i don’t think i’ll ever do it. i need to just accept myself. Besides, I don’t know when I’ll be done having or nursing(C)

April 21, 2004

my kids, why get it done to undo it…and by the time I KNOW I’m finished, who will I be trying to impress then? I don’t want to be 40 trying to act and look 20, because, I won’t BE 20 then. obviously LOL I want to act and look my age. If that’s possible for me, to act my age ROFL so uh. in short, probably not hehe ~ajaye
