An Entry – An Actual Entry!

You guys have been so patient with me not writing – and for that I thank you.

Let’s see – it has been FOREVER since I have done a real entry.

Diet is shot all to Hades. I am back up to 219. I need to get serious about weight loss again. I have to. For my whole health sake.

Let’s see – what has happened in the last couple months….

Autumn, as of yesterday, is 16 months old. She had her 15 month check up last month. She was 30” long and weighed 19 pounds. She is healthy but petite. They did not harp on me about her weight. She is very active and is into everything. She says about 10 words and comprehends almost everything we say. She can copy what ever you do if you show her ONE time.

She has four teeth and is teething again. Oh and she only naps once a day now. Instead of two 1-hour naps she takes one 2-hour nap. I try to put her down after lunch so sometimes we have lunch at 11:30. LOL

She is defiantly in the terrible twos early. She has full blown melt downs on the floor with arms and legs flailing. She is growing so fast. I need to get some pictures processed for you. She no longer looks like an infant. She is a toddler through and through.

The day before yesterday I went in to get her up in the morning and she was sitting in the crib with her clothes off – including her poopy diaper. UGH well after spending an hour getting her and the crib cleaned up…. Never mind….

She is totally in 12 month clothes now. I have to go through her closet and clear out all the 6-9 and most of the 9-12 month sizes. I would sell them on eBay but I no longer have an eBay account. I may reopen one just to sell her stuff. I am keeping some items in case I have another child. I doubt I will though. All her baby gear is in storage – I hope I have another but – seriously – I don’t think I will. I mean – I want one – just not right now. It is too soon after – I want Autumn to be at least 3 so she will understand a bit more. But I really don’t think I will have another one. Kal does not want one. BUT if God decides to bless me with another child – we will both be happy.

On the health front – everyone is feeling 150% better. No more creeping crud. I have been having bouts of depression that come and go. My fibro and migraines have been in a flare. I have another appt with my neurologist on the 26th.

Kal is doing well. Work is going fine. The commute is killing us with the gas prices.

E who I from here on out will call MrG – is doing well as well. He quit his old job and is now working for a new company and has a lot less stress. He is still staying with us.

The cats are fine. KiiKii has stopped peeing on the sofa. PRAISE THE LORD. Let us hope she continues to be a good kitty.

The rabbit is doing well too. But we have not seen the duck in a couple weeks now. I hope she is ok.

We did not have much of anything from Hurricane Ophelia, just a lot of rain, lots and lots of rain.

The good thing about the hurricane is that it moved a lot of the hot air out of our area. Nice weather now. I know it won’t last – but it is so nice right now.

I have been really missing my Mother in Law. We received the results of her autopsy. She had three major things going on that were chronic that none of us knew about with her lungs and bone marrow. If she had not gone as quietly as she did in her sleep – she would have been in for a long painful time.

I miss her so much. I have caught myself twice picking the phone up to call her.

Ok on to other things.

I still play my online game Star Wars Galaxies – but I also started playing EverQuest 2. It is fun and is a nice change of pace – I switch off between the two of them. In EQ2 I play on Faydark server and my main toon is a wood elf druid fury. I just made level 31 last night. What is my name in the game? Dakk Ota of course! As soon as I get the new expansion pack (when I have extra buckaroos) I am adding the ‘ to my name. I feel nekkid without it.

My cousin is getting married this weekend on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale. Kal can’t go but the baby and I are going with my sister and parents. I hope it is fun. I am taking my camera.

I have been trying to be the good wife and mom and keeping the dishes done. Laundry washed and PUT AWAY and the house picked up – so on that note – I better hop to it. I have a ton to do before the guys get home.

Well I think that is all for now. I have to get some things done and try to squeeze a nap in somewhere while Autumn is sleeping.

PS I am going to try to write more regularly – I need to get back into the groove of writing. I miss you guys.
