Oh Baby…

Hello Baby,

In 12 short days, you will be here and I can’t wait for the moment to see the Doc put you in your Daddy’s arms.  He’s so excited to meet you.  It seemed like forever to get here but now you’re almost here, brace yourself for this crazy world!

Im really going to miss you inside me.  I love feeling you’re little jabs and your pushing and I love feeling the shape of your little feet on the side of my belly.  You’ve been such a good little one!  But it’s time for you to come out and meet everyone who loves you so much already!

I hope we can be the best parents you could ever wish for.  We promise to love you and take good care of you, but go easy on us.  We’re both learning 🙂  And please don’t be stubborn like your mother…that could pose a problem hehe

Dr. says you weigh around 7.5lbs!  You started out in ounces and now you’re a whopping 7lbs!  Good baby!  I knew you were getting lots to munch on in there!

You’re new bedroom is all ready.  And as soon as your crib and dresser arrives, it will be all ready for you to move on in.  We’re ready for you.  All your clothes are washed as well as your crib sheets and blankets.  We have lots of diapers and wipes so now we just have to sterilze a few things!  And if Daddy ever gets around to installing your car seat, everything will be complete.  I keep telling him to install it or you’ll be here!

Mommy is being induced on the 14th but Daddy hopes you won’t arrive until the 15th which is the first day of trout fishing.  He thinks that would be really special to have his baby born on his most favorite day of the year.  He’s already planning on taking you fishing.  So even if you don’t like fishing….humor him for a few years.  It will make him beam.  And if you can, go easy on Mommy during labor.  It’s my first time and Im a little nervous.

So stay safe and happy for just 12 more days and we’ll see you in the delivery room!  We can’t wait!
