Hello Baby!

Mommy got to see you again on Tuesday!  And, wow, was I excited!!!

When I left the hospital, I think all my fears about being pregnant,becoming a  Mommy, bringing life into the world were totally gone.  I was totally energized…I wanted you right then and there!  It just felt really uplifting to know that you are actually real and are about to arrive in a few short weeks!

At the hospital, where I get the ultrasounds every 2 weeks now, I have never been able to see you.  This time I asked the technician if she could sneak me a look at you!  So after my testing was done, she flipped the screen over to me and showed me all around! 

I seen the top of your what seemed like huge head, but Im sure it was small….then down to your eye sockets, your pudgy little nose and your mouth.  That is when you opened your mouth up into a little "O"!  The technician and I were so excited that I got to see that!  That was totally incredible!  Then I seen your beating heart, down to those feet who have been kicking Mommy endlessly, and then to 2 long stretched right out legs.  You certainly look comfy in there!

You also weighed in at 4lbs and 2 oz, which means you gained 9 oz in 2 weeks!  Way to Go Baby!  And have a beating heart of 157!

Unfortunately, Daddy was home sick and didn’t see you, but he was just as excited to hear all about you!

When I seen your Dr on Thursday, he told me that because of my high blood pressure, he feels the need to induce me a week earlier.  So it looks like for right now your arrival date is set for around April 12th.  But……..if my blood pressure stays whacky, as soon as Dr feels that you are strong and big enough, he’ll deliver you!  So we’re not really sure when to expect you! 

We’re ready for you……we can’t wait 🙂
