23 Weeks

Hello Baby…

I cannot believe how fast time is flying by.  We’re over half way now!  Can you believe that?  Soon enough you’ll be put our arms all slick and probably crying hehe

We seen the Dr. last week and he was quite happy about everything.  Said you were growing exactly the way you should be, your heart rate was 141 this time and that I was not giving birth to a snowman!  Your ultrasound picture that we had done at the hospital makes you look like a baby snowman.  A little head and a great big belly!  Your Dr. thought the picture was some cute!  But not your Mommy….I was awful upset that we were having a funny looking baby but you’ll be perfect in every way!

In the last few weeks, I have started to feel you move!  I love that feeling and i wish I could feel that forever.  But Baby, you must get used to Mommy going to bed early and getting up early.  Mommy doesn’t want you keeping me awake at 11pm at night with your kicks and prodding! hehe  It seems like you kick more when I have my knees up towards my belly…am I squishing you?

Your Grandma and Poppy can’t wait for you to get here.  Grandma keeps buying, buying, buying!  She’s got a full suitcase already.  But Thank God for her, cause I have hardly anything bought yet!  I better get off my tired butt and get shopping for you!

Today is your Daddy’s birthday.  Give him a little kick later on, will you?  That will make his birthday unforgettable.

So stay safe and warm and happy inside and keep on kicking just like you are right at this moment.  Your Mommy loves to feel you.
