There You Are!
When I saw that OD was down, I began to wonder if that was why I hadn’t heard from y’all.
Thanks for your encouragement.
Still waiting to get the book back from my editor friend. And then I have to have someone put it in final form. For some reason my version of Word won’t let me number the pages.
Quiet evening at home right now…Nelson has been fighting getting sick, so of course today they offered him overtime for both today and tomorrow. He nabbed it up…can always us a little extra for the holidays.
I’ve been battling a UTI, but I’m more concerned that it is a stone. The last one I had in March of 2010 was nearly 10mm or the size of the top of my pinkie. Not a constant pain, but starting to be draining. (insert sigh here)
I’ve been having fun on Pinterest. I don’t spend a lot of time there, but I have found some cute crafts (that even I could do) and some recipes. The best recipe was a muffin recipe that doesn’t use flour, just oatmeal, eggs, sweetener, baking soda, baking powder, bananas (or blueberries) and it calls for plain Greek yogurt. We’ve tried two adaptations. First I used blueberry flavored Greek yogurt. Turned okay. Then last night I used Greek yogurt cream cheese. The banana muffins with that are quite yummy! And totally within our eating plan. I am determined not to gain any weight back this eating season. So far-so good!
Well, I better get to fixing supper. Chicken broccali cassarole, adapted to fit our eating plan. Yum!
What eating plan are you on?
