GF and Me

It’s not nearly as difficult as I imagined. I have done well.

Of course, it helped when I was craving pizza in the worst kind of way that I was able to order one from Domino’s. And it was beyond delish! They only offer GF in small, but that was ok since that provided me dinner and lunch for the next day. When I’m really on I could probably get away with three meals by adding a salad. Just didn’t have any fixings.

I have also added two cereals to my pantry. I don’t know why, but here are times when only a bowl of cereal with quell the tummy beast. Thankfully Chex has GF offerings and good old Cheerios.

Yesterday I led the music at a Women’s Ministry meeting at church. It was a brunch. When I first walked in all I saw was muffins and I thought, “Crud, I should have eaten before I came.” But thankfully, there were also three egg bake cassaroles (we were at church, so I should have known). I was quite egg-cited that I could eat two of three! And then they brought out a huge fruit platter. I was in heaven!

So I’m doing well. I’ve also been feeling well enough to get out and play with Asher again. He likes that and I feel good, too!

I would feel perfect if that nail on my big toe would just decide to fall off and get on with healing. It doesn’t hurt too badly, but it twinges, is ugly, and feels odd. But I won’t complain if that’s the worst of it.

I’ve also lost four pounds since I’ve been journaling my food intake. I do better when I have to write it down. Accountability works well for me.

Glad things are going well for you. Not sure if you live near a Target, but they have several GF things, including waffles. Hugs,M
