The temporary heat wave (mid 40s) is over and we’ve got a slight blanket of new snow.

Valentine’s is coming up so I’m giving both the nurses who visit and the doctors office I frequent chocolate and flowers to be in the spirit of things. I can’t say I’ve ever had a single individual that I’ve given those items to before but considering its been almost a year straight (Doc in March, Nurses in May) it works. I handed out chocolate covered cherries for Christmas and that went over well.

I’m making progress with my weightlifting. I’m getting more strength in my left arm. It’s slow progress but I’d rather be this way than going fast and hurting something else. No more setbacks.

Now time to go and catch up on stuff I might have missed.

My Nonnie (moms mom) gave us chocolate covered cherries every year for Christmas. Mom kept up the tradition and this year, I grabbed myself a box. Some things….just stick with you.

I’m sure they’re love what you give them and be appreciative too! It’s very sweet!

Give those arms and shoulders equal time!

@ostara Oh I am. I make sure to give them nice stretches and take things slow. Haha.

I think the medical people must feel underappreciated as patients come and go. Giving flowers and candy will make their day brighter. Really cool thing to think of doing. Nice.

@joyfulhope They’ve had me there on a mostly weekly basis since last March so I figured its fair. Plus I like doing the small things. Seeing a big smile you cause makes me feel good.

I’m sure they’ll appreciate the gifts. Glad to hear you’re getting your strength up.

@apexbloom I hope so. Thanks, I was losing a lot with all I’d wasted. It feels great to get back on it.
