Hope
Today is the day im hoping the doctor takes out the sutures in my foot. Im diabetic, and as a result of a lot of self mismanagement I’ve developed neuropathy in my bad foot. So the feeling there, on the bottom is very minimal in spots. My memory is fuzzy but I waa awake for parts of my last surgery. The doc recently confirmed it. I laughed about it. I suppose its nice to be really good even if in a bad area.
So fingers crossed they come out.
I’ve got a routine I’m trying out when get on here. I like to try to read and engage people with notes. I then respond to notes or the like. I guess I want a sense of a small corner in this place? Or maybe its to show people that others care enough to read and let them know they did.
Anyways, I’m too scattered this morning.
Hope everyone is well.
Neuropathy pain and numbness in my lower extremities is something I can strongly relate to. After many years of discomfort, the one medication that has measurably helped is Lyrica. Wow, the thought of being conscious during any part of any kind of surgery is disturbing. Having worked as a USAF medic for years, that’s one nightmare I never saw, but there were stories about surgical patients waking up and having to be sedated further. Fingers crossed here that it’s time to get those sutures removed. Good luck.

Fingers crossed you can get those sutures out! I appreciate your efforts. It’s starting to feel just a bit like the old OD around here. 🙂 The little corner of community is comforting.
