Weigh Day: Flashback to ’91

Operation Smaller Ass Before the Triathlon (S.A.B.T.) is going very well. I lost a pound at weigh-in today, bringing my total to 166.6 lbs lost. More importantly, the loss puts me in a new decade! The last time I weighed in the 230s was 9th grade. All of a sudden, my goal weight doesn’t seem so far away. 🙂

My focus this week (and the next 3) will be on the triathlon. The treadmill hates me these days and it’s a mutual feeling. In order to keep things interesting, I’ll continue kickboxing on Saturday mornings and I’m going to try a PiYo class this week.

PiYo combines Yoga and mat method based on Pilates to enhance muscle strength and length. Also designed to improve posture, flexibility, & physical awareness. Great for stress reduction! Appropriate for all fitness levels.

Hope everyone is having a great week…Go RUUUUUUUUUUBEN!

Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuben had better not get kicked off this week or I may have to flip.

CONGRATS! Have you thought of a goal weight yet? You look tall in your photos, so I bet you could carry your weight well.

I admire those who can kickbox. I am afraid I would land on my butt.

RYN-Plan: actually, i’m on a “flexible plan” where i can pay $13 for each week i weigh in and not pay for the weeks i can’t weigh in. don’t know if this will really work, since i _really_ prefer weighing in each week; but we’ll see.

woohooo for you!

I’m really enjoying your diary. I’ve read about 20 entries and unfortunately I have to get back to work. Thank you for writing this and the other success stories. They are inspirational. Congratulations on your own successful path!

Glad you are breaking into old territories. Thanks for the note, baby and I are doing fine. Now that I’m out of school for the semester I’m going to take some yoga classes to help me when I go into labor. Your so awesome for keeping all your training up. Go Courtney. 🙂
