Weigh Day

I was down 1 lb at weigh-in today…and finally saw a new number. Hooray for 213! I’m trying not to focus on the 200 lb milestone…simply because, if I do…self sabotage is a given. I’ll have to consult my good ol’ freshman psych book to find out why that happens.

So…June is off to a good start. I am determined to stay on track…despite the various social functions. I hate to say it, but the whole bit about failing to plan/planning to fail is the gospel. J’s party is Saturday. Food won’t be an issue. I’ll eat dinner before I go and stash a protein bar in my purse. Drinking will be limited to low point faves: rum & diet coke, tequila, and light beer. One of my WW buddies likes to mix Crystal Light and vodka. *shudder*

My coworker Tucker (sooo not her real name) informed me today that her guy will be having an afterparty at his house…a little “You bring your girls, I’ll bring my homeboys” type thing. Things could get smutty interesting. 🙂

Matters of the heart…the flutters have decreased a lot. I should know my blood test results by Friday. Thanks again for the support. You guys are great!

Well, it’s time to get my sweat on. The Dallas/Ft. Worth area is expecting more tornado activity tonight, so Chesty and I will be doing a cardio DVD and weights at home. Hope you all have a good evening…

I was watching the Dallas area weather last night, pretty scary stuff. Hope you got your workout in before taking shelter.

Congrats on the great weigh-in! New numbers are always a treat. And I’m feeling you on the self-sabotage. Let me know if your freshman psych book has the answer!

You are amazing. I found your diary the other day. It is wonderful, and so is your website…I will be reading more. I love that poem on your website, Our Deepest Fear. It is so true.

I can’t go to the gym because there is a tornado? Sounds like a great reason and one that I will never be able to use since it is too cold and too mountainous where I live for tornados to ever be a factor. I can whine and beg off for -30 C though. Congrats on seeing a new number on the scale. My morning weight has been stuck for a month and I’ve just gone down 2 pounds. Hooray.

Great Job Girl!!! You should have a party when you reach 200 pounds down., I am really proud of you! You are a definite inspiration to me!! tontoy 242.2/205/160

You are a true inspiration. I’ve read your diary from the very begining and I must say congrats on getting this far. One question though -are you going to stop using OD after you reach your goal weight? And are you going to have a huge celebration party after reaching your goal? Sorry, but I don’t have an account yet at OD but if you could answer my questions that’d be great. congrats again

Yay, congrats on the loss. Onederland is around the corner baby!

I have lost 50 lbs (still have A LOT more to lose) and started getting flutters too. I’m so anxious to hear what happens with you. As I’m saying to myself “I’m sure it’s nothing but anxiety”
