Oh my goodness…

Both of my must-see shows were shocking last night! This entry contains spoilers for folks that missed the episodes (or live in Canada…LOL), so read at your own risk!

The Sopranos…

Ok, we all knew that Adrianna was next on the hit list, but damn! I found myself feeling sorry for her last night. The Feds really dropped the ball on that one. I got chills when Tony called her with the bogus suicide story. Christopher is too arrogant and materialistic to end it all….and I think Adrianna knew that. Next week is going to be explosive. After that…only one season left. Hopefully they won’t make us wait 12+ months for the new episodes!

Queer As Folk…

I cannot believe they killed Vic off! I knew someone was going to die, but I honestly thought it would be Hunter. Vic and Debbie have had such a good relationship over the years, it’s sad that pesky issues kept them apart during his last days. The last thing she said to him was “Fuck You”…she’ll have to live with that for the rest of her life. Pretty deep…it makes me want to call everyone I care about…you never know when your last day will come.

As if that wasn’t deep enough, Brian has testicular cancer? They can’t kill him off…unless they plan on ending the show. He’s such an asshole at times, but I still adore his character. *sigh*

On a slightly related note, Soul Food ends this week! Ack! I’m so sad to see the series go…but it was time. When the writers start really reaching for storylines, pulling the plug is best. I know I’ll get shit for this, but Friends should have ended about 2 years ago. The show was still pulling in the ratings and $, but quantity doesn’t equal quality. Yeah, it was an amazing night of TV. I really didn’t see it coming with Adriana. I, too, thought it would be Hunter on QAF. Then I thought it would be Ted, who would die heroically and redeem himself. I did very briefly think it might be Vic, but that was really a shocker. Setting up lots of grief work with Deb, obviously. GOOD episodes, both.

oh, i so want to read about QAF. I saw the first line about Vic and I’m so tempted to read more. I don’t know if I can wait until the new season comes out on DVD. Why do u tempt me so? 🙂 I still can’t get over the SOPRANOS. They’ve been really giving it their all this season.

ok, so i read the spoilers!!! i still have to watch! i can’t wait! i’m so glad someone said that about FRIENDS. When Rachel started dating Joey, they should have known it was time to go.

Heehee, I love that e-mail. And I thought it was especially cruel of the Sopranos writers to show us that daydream shot of Adriana in her snazzy car heading out of state, with her suitcase on the front seat. For 5 seconds, I thought she was going to make it out alive.–

I know. I’m gonna miss Soul Food. But now that it’s the last season (and soon, last show) they’re going buck wild. Did you see the Bird cheating episode? Wow. And all I know is, they better not end it with Terri and Damon not getting back together. I hope they stick with the traditional happy ending most shows use.

So what new clothes did you get? I love shopping for clothes but, since I am spending so much $ on my diet no NEW clothes until goal. I reached -35 on Saturday. Shrinking face – YOU LOOK AMAZING!
