It’s Official…

My current company has been purchased by my old company. The acquisition will make us the second largest travel management company in the world. I’m actually excited about the news. I left the old company for financial reasons (who would pass up a chance to make $8k more per year doing the same job?). The new name will bring a better sick policy, more vacation time…and even the possibility of getting my old seniority back (under review). 30% of my office used to work for the old company…so you can imagine how bizarre work was yesterday when the official announcement was made. I had people with 15+ years seniority asking me questions about the old company. LOL My, how the tables have turned…

My baby brother turns 20 on Saturday! Where did the time go? He wants a tattoo for his birthday (a cross on his arm…similar to Mike Bibby). Chesty and I are supposed to take him tonight to get it. My mom has no clue….and I know she’s going to freak out. Can a 26 year old child call CPS on her parent? I have a feeling that she’ll want to “discuss” this issue. It will be worth it, though. I’m still cool in my brother’s eyes…and that’s all that matters. LOL

Saturday morning is the usual salon appointment…then heading to my manager’s housewarming party in the afternoon. Tomorrow night I’m going to a comedy club. Sunday is spin class…apartment cleaning…Sopranos…in that order. 🙂

Hope all is well with everyone…have a great weekend!

Until next time…

happy birthdya, brother! But he’s going to have to be sober while he gets his tattoo…since he’s not yet 21…

Sounds like your a busy woman. When I turned 18 my sis took me to get a tatoo and she got one too. My parents flipped!!! They got over it though, after I got my second one, he he!!

Funny thing in our family is the one of the 4 of us sibs that would have been voted most likely to have a tattoo is the only one of us that DOESN’T!!! *LOL* 🙂 Your Mom will flip, but she’ll get over it eventually. Doesn’t he have to be 21 to get it done though or is it 18? I was 23 when I got mine so I have no idea *LOL* 🙂

yes, twenty is an age that knows whether one wants a tattoo. Keep on exercising. I am sorry you can’t eat peanut butter, as I am making a great recipe right now that uses it.
