Drama…

Let’s get the weight issue out of the way first. My appetite kicked into overdrive after the stomach virus and I gained 1.2 this week. I don’t think it’s a major deal, but the weigher looked at me like I was a puppy that lost my way. LOL Some things will never change. Anyway, January is pretty much a bust. I’ve done the yo-yo thing the entire month, but February should be different. Cycling training begins next week and that will definitely get the weight moving.

Now..for the real drama…

My coworker’s (L) apartment was robbed on Monday night. They took all of the major electronics (2 TVs, DVD, MP3, VCR) and ransacked her room. The bastards even emptied her daughter’s piggy bank. As if that’s not enough, L’s car was stolen last night. Apparently the thieves got her extra set of keys and went back. The scary thing is that they took the vehicle less than 5 minutes after she arrived home…which meant they were waiting in the parking lot. She had enough time to get her daughter in the house and get the trash together. When she walked outside, the car was gone. Can you believe this shit? I have been depressed all day. This is the work of an ex out for revenge…or strangers in her complex that know her daily schedule. Robbery details suggest that the culprits knew how much time they had to work with. The police were able to get 3 fingerprints from the apartment, so hopefully the story as a somewhat happy ending. A single mom with a 5 year old…say a prayer for her, please.

What a horrible thing to have happen to her…the first break in alone must have been a shock and a violation, but the second one is ominous. Hopefully they know she has nothing of value left.

That is so sad, I will be praying for her! Do you think the office can get together and take up a little collection so that she can buy some stuff back! They have DVD’s at Walmart for $50 now. Tontoy

OH MY GOD!!!! That is AWFUL!!! 🙁 Hope nothing was taken that can’t be replaced. Money and electronics, well, that’s what renters insurance is for… hopefully she has it!!!! I will say lots of prayers that she not only gets her stuff, car, money and piece of mind back, but also that they catch the sons of bitches that did it!!!!!! And lock em up in a cell with a guy name Bubba who is….

7′ tall, 300 pounds of muscle, and doesn’t take kindly to jackasses that steal money from children!!!!!! Now THAT would be sweet justice 🙂

Talk about the night from Hell!! How horrible for your co-worker!! And, screw Ms. Weigher!! I’ve done the whole WW thing twice before (going back for my third time VERY soon!!)and I can clearly picture the look that she gave you. Do they expect that we’ll lose EVERY week?! Bottom line is, you’ve come a LONG way and you look great!! :o)

How terrible. I hope they make some progress and are able to recover her goods. Nothing will be able to restore her feeling of violation, having had strangers steal from her home. I hope for the best.

I’m so sorry about what happened to your co-worker. I believe that’s every single woman and single mother’s worst nightmare. I pray they find and fully prosecute those inhumane pieces of waste.

what an awful thing to happen to her. I’m so sorry to hear that, wether it be the bastard ex that played a role or any other f’n stranger, I hope they get what they deserve. My thoughts are with her and her little one.
