6/22 Journal

Yesterday’s kickboxing class beat me down. She changed up the routine a bit and my legs are screaming at me today. Oy…

After the gym, Chesty and I went to get fills. Every serious tri-diva needs faboo nails. :p We also made a stop at B&N to pick up my copy of Order of Phoenix. I only had to knock over a few kiddies. I’ve read about 150 pages so far and I’m fighting the urge to skip ahead and see what major character dies. *patience, grasshopper*

Next stop was the salon. While waiting in the lobby, a man starts chatting me up. He was obviously flirting, but I was too busy questioning his sexual orientation to listen to his game. Damn all the “gay” straight men…and the “straight” gay men. LOL You keep us in a constant state of confusion. Sex and the City did an episode on this topic, so I know it’s a real issue. 🙂

No major plans today. I’m going to work on the apartment, read some H.P., and hit the mall to search for a party outfit for next weekend. My cousin’s annual birthday bash is Saturday. It’s always a crazy affair, but this year he’s turning 40. His wife has asked everyone to wear black and bring gag gifts. LOL How do I find a black divalicious outfit that won’t have me sweating like a luau pig? It’s JUNE…in TEXAS.

RYN: Nope. It is not the one we tried at the Danskin. It is Westsoy’s Soy Slender. It reduced calorie and sugarfree (sweetened with sucralose) and is lactose free. Calories 70, Fat 3g, Fiber 4g = 1 point per 1 cup serving! It’s awesome too!

Wow you are doing really well. I have really fallen off my WW wagon. I can’t seem to find the ladder to get back on. I give you props girlie

RYN: I’ll have to bring my blades out there and we’ll have to go play in the grass together! 😛

Ok, you’ll have to let me know how the newest H.P. book is before I go spend the money to see for myself.

Look for something in a gauzy cotton. I LOVE gauze in the summetime. Even in black. Question…Since you, like me, started losing weight at a very high weight, I’m guessing you also began exercising at nearly 400 pounds. I’d like more exercise options, especially stuff I could do at home. I HATE walking outside. What did you do? I’ve been exercising for a few months now, and am… (cont’d)

(Cont’d)…adjusting well to it. I can do 40, 45 minutes of cardio at the gym at this point and have no soreness after strength training. When you were weighing around 360, what kinds of exercise were you doing? I’m looking for ideas for things I could do on days I can’t get to the gym. Oh, and I hate walking outside because I’m clumsy and trip and stumble a lot if I’m not slow and cautious.<

RYNRMN: You could do Tae Bo at 360? I’ve seen the Walk Away The Pounds tape…It looks a little boring, but it might do. How well were you doing with Tae Bo at 360? Well, considering how much weight you’ve lost, I guess you must have done well.

RYN: I’m just under 5’8, but I’m belly heavy. Nothing in the hips or butt, all in my belly. So I’m not evenly distributed. The fact is that being built this way has thrown off my center of gravity. Still, I’d like to try challenging things…

Man, oh man, do I miss 26-31. ;p Ever since I moved into 20-25 (3 months ago) I’ve lost all of 4 pounds! I feel like I’m 95% on program and I just need to FIND that other 5%! 🙂 Anyway, I’m glad I found this diary. 🙂 229.2/171.6/150–
