nojomo: beads and baubles
In some ways, I’ve enjoyed having this day with just myself and the kids. In others, I’m ready to pull out my hair. All of the structure and cooperation I had managed to weave into our days has apparently disappeared completely, and I’m just now realizing I’m going to have to start over from scratch in January. I’m disappointed, but I should have expected it.
Best news of the day? I got both kids to bed early. Like, an HOUR early. Thank you daylight savings time! So, after I finish this entry, I’m going to get to work on the living room. If I finish it, I’m going to clean the kitchen, and if I finish that then I’m going to fold the laundry. And then I’m going to rub it in Aaron’s face when he gets home that I got more done in one day than he did all week. 😛 I’m only kidding on that last one. Mostly.
I’ve also been making lots of jewelry this weekend. My Etsy shop has been on the back burner forever, and though I still plan on opening it, right now I’m going to try to sell a few things on DiaperSwappers before I sink any more money into Etsy. That way I can tell what sells and what doesn’t and get some feedback.
Pictures of what I’ve been making recently:
I’m having fun with it. I even bought Chloe a HUGE case of pony beads at work and she made her own cute little bracelet today, with my help.
Anyway, I’m gonna go get started on my cleaning before one of these kiddos decides to wake up.
